Jordanian Star Academy 3 candidate Walid Samara was recently a guest on Raicom show on Al Rai TV where he talked about his future plans. He appears to have changed his mind about his career; he will pursue his music career and will release an album soon of which most of the songs are going to be written by him.
Walid also hinted that he will be writing songs for some of star academy students from previous years (although he wouldn’t say who they were). He also revealed that he will be releasing a single in the Egyptian accent in summer to find out how people are going to react.

Execuse me all, but Walid is really the most respectful man I have ever seen. He is the most decent,well mannered, and civilized person among all the students of Star Academy 1,2,3.His strong presencee,respect, and esteem to all his collegues (especially girls)can not be denied. He really gave a good image to an Arab, and a Muslim boy. I was and still I am against Star Academy as a program and as a mindset. However, I voted,for the first time in my life, for Walid when he was nominated. I voted for good manners and respect in his personality. I voted for a good Arab muslim man in his personality. I voted for education and for singing as a hobby not as whole life center in his personality. We are very proud of you Walid.Just go ahead because you deserve the best of all. Wish you much happiness, success, and love in your life. We Love you and we respect you.

well i do agree that walid has a beautiful mature personality but sorry guys his voice 's not that much & singing doesnt suit him comparing with the other talented, sorry
Hey zeina, who are you to tell me to shut up. I think I'm free to say my opinion. He said that he doesn't want to sing and now he is on every show saying I'm recording new songs. This is HYPOCRICY. I'm sorry if you don't know what it means. If he has a great personlaity, that doesn't mean he has a decent voice.........
first of all Walid is the most gorgeous man ever,I love him his personality looks,charms everything.
True that his voice wasnt exactly great in the academy but maybe he has improved it,we dont know how his voice is right now so everyone needs to chill and listen to his upcoming music and then judge because you never know you could actually like the album., lets hope for the best.

Waleed made a wise choice when he withdrew from the program for its discrmination towards the candidates and somehow I knew that his old job had nothing to do with his decision because he wanted to be an artist. Record companies could make use of his ability to sing and compose songs and that way he can accomplish his dreams. Mohamad Fahd also left the Academy in a smart way just to escape the injustice imposed on him and recently he got a call from Rotana so he could release his first album. I wish the best of luck for these two remarkable young men.
