The dog you are about to read about is a dog that was thrown in the Nile river by its owner to swim for about 50 km to save itself! The owner threw the 2 month old pups with the mother. Eyewitnesses also saw the dog placing her puppies in her mouth and swimming. The dog is a 2 year old shih-tzu breed called Smuggy, with a mixture of brown, black, white & grey colors.
It has been reported that the dog had been mistreated, and the father of the puppies was also killed by the owner as well!

It has also been reported that the owner was drunk when committing the crime, and was on a Cruise ship. But the thing is, why did he take the dogs with him on the ship?
Unfortunately, in the Arab world, there is no law to help protect animals. Maybe there should be!
The latest about the dog is that she & her four pups got separated & she needs a new family to take care of her.

I would like to ask you a simple question, WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE DOG'S NAME FROM "SMUGGY" TO "SMUDGY"?
Do you knnow what Smuggy means? it comes from the word " smu", which is the color of polluted gas (black, brown, and grey) I know that the content and meaning of the name is weird, but what shall we do, the owner is more weird than the name itself!!

We thought that the name is incorrect because there is a word 'SMUDGY' which means nearly the same ...
Anyway, we changed the word back to SMUGGY :)

Was the owner at least reprimanded?. I do not believe how many people think pets are there for their enjoynment?. Especially in the middle east, where it is allright to shoot at, hit or run over stray animals. Some people just can not handle a little amount of power on anything defenceless whether animals, children or old people.
one more thing, being drunk is no excuse. If someone does it to animals, they would do it to humans if they think they can get away with it.

haram i feel so sorry for the dog its not fair because in all the world animals are protected except in the middle east and i want to know dont these people think that animals have souls just like a human its not fair.... they should treat them equally
