After the successful concerts of the big stars Michael Jackson & Sting few years ago… The event now is that American music diva Mariah Carey will be coming to Tunisia this summer to perform two concerts.
The Menzah stadium in Tunis will hold the concerts on July 22nd and 24th.
Many people are waiting for these concerts to enjoy the wonderful songs of Mariah & her sublime songs.

I am skeptical at why singers are finding interest in coming to the Middle East especially now. Just something I wonder about. Anyways, good 4 her. I think she has a very nice voice and top songs.... ;)
where I can get tickets for those concerts? help please!!!
I'll answer to foofoo:
First, Tunisia is not a "middle-eastern" coutry, but a north african one, and for your information, if you might think that Middle-East=problems...well Tunisia is the most stable Arab coutry... :)
And maybe Mariah Caray is interested by her tunisian fans too, who(i think)have the right to see their idol in their own coutry.
i totally agree with terminator...Tunisia isn't a mideast country, its a north african country and a mediterranean country,in fact tunisia is so mediterranean that tunisian ppl look just like italalian or ppl from southern france or spain...cha heard foofoo.
Stop showing off 'Tunisia isn't middle east'...whatever!
Italians look similar to all Arabs not just Tunisians and it's because we all have darker features.
Middle-East is a term used to define countries geographically (not culturally).
And that's why Turkey and Israel are also regarded as Middle-Eastern on a global scale. When u say North Africa u r only talking about Africa, but countries are sometimes referred to by global locations rather then its continental location.
In addition Mariah visited Beirut a year ago so she did not think about Tunisia first. I am not standing up for either or putting either one down. I just don't like the habit of nationalism or arrogance.
P.S. Italians are amongst the most violent of Europeans with the highest rate of transsexuals, so don’t be too proud in comparing yourself with certain Europeans.
My mother was required to make alterations to one of Mariah’s skirts which was green and the size of a belt and apparently she wasn’t such a friendly lady. My mum didn’t even know who on earth she was till some colleagues explained.
defenitly it will be a succesful concert 110% the tunisian are known for their truthfull welcoming warmly any artist with a real talent from the east or the west ...
a friend of mine from morroco went to michael jackson concert in tunisian he flew there he told me it was amazing ... everything was well done + the tunisians audience are known for learning many songs and singing it with the singer which usaully impressthe singers mostly when they are from the west ...
i hope i 'll be able to make it
hey but can you beleive it all of this singers already have been to tunisia for concerts from the west they have great international summer festivals there ... and all of the singers where amazed with the beauty of the country and the hospitatliy of this country people since a long time ago ...i am happy for tunisia even dough iam not from there .and by the way that's also true there's no doubt that tunisia is the most stable and most peacfull arabic country they almost got the white falg in 1968 from the UN but then something went wrong because of some problem from stupid gadafi ... it's in the middle eastern and north africain history ... that was the first and the only arabic country getting so close to obtain the white falg status from the UN ... but
such stars starting with: dalida , cher , ray charles , james brown , zuckero , sting ,michael jackson , eros ramazotti , patricia kass , lara fabian , benassi bross , ... and many others even patrick bruel a french singers made a song about the beauty of tunisia and it's people that he amazed with when he went there .... it's called "cafe des delices" and i forget who but one of the greatest world big names of the jazz music from new york a black men went totunis the 60's and made a song named a"night in tunisia " it is still selling until now and if you ask any jazz player about he will know it right away ... it's really famous in the usa here by the jazz players ... and he went back then to the festival of tabarka which's an international jazz festival in tunisia every year
Well thanks for answering. True Tunisia is not a ME country but I was talking general like concerts in Egypt and what not. Its not becuase of political stability . I was just curious why they are so interested now. Maybe its becuase of the media. Anyway, thanks... ;)
we have been read your comments about tunsian dont be superfesial and denied your self where you are from .dont feel over proud and catagorised fakly and make decepting your selves from centeral eurpe and middle east as historical and geografical stated that your location ,human and natrual resoures ,working environment , the government of tunisan in all aspects grouply organised in africa union and getting every thing in your home continate africa .it is not shemful to you to mentioning africa . just forgat it others mantal and phsically be along with africa and dont pretended as central eurpe and middle east .
yup that's true i totally agree with jamel and his friends
tunisia is in africa and it is maybe the most succesful country in africa with no doubt in all the field ... and tunisian peoples are so proud of it .... but where is the problem in that ...
but still i don't know if all of them have denied themselfes from being africain or belonging to africa ... after all africa was and is still the mother land of the human race .

Spot on. We really need to derive pride from actual events that are really important besides vain, self obsessed celebrities visiting our countries. I mean as a Lebanese, we have enough of those in Lebanon. However it is refreshing(not) to see other countries Carrying what I call the Lebanese virus( false pride and wanting to distance themselves from fellow Arabs). It would seem to some people that a lot of Lebanese have it but it is so not true.I say that with the love and pride of being a Lebanese. I would not rather being anything else.
There is a joke about being a tru leb, you have to have a conversation about being Lebanese at least once a day. Also we are not Arabs, we are phoenicians( for anyone wanting to jump down my throat, this is part of the joke.)
Also FooFoo posed a constructive question which I thought about myself.
I had a belt once which I planned to substitute for a skirt, but mum used it to mop the floor with.
hey its me mariah and i love all of use! xo
