Online dating is getting more popular everyday all over the world and many people are already signed up to a certain online dating service. Some people have great success stories at online dating, they met their other half online, organized a first date and many of them get married at the end. Others think online dating is stupid and believe that you can never have a real relationship online ... There are also people who have made lots of friends online but when it comes to the romantic part, they believe words on a monitor would never be as laying their eyes on a guy or a girl and get to know them face to face ...

I think online dating is great especially for diaspora communities. i think it all depends on how honest the two are , and how objective those two in their search.
There are people who got married by finding their partners online. The advantage of it is that you can spit out what you want in your partner much more sponatneously and much more easily than real life.
However, finding a partner online can have contingencies and limitations just like real life. I for example posted an account for me in one site and I did not find what I want. I am thinking of going to arablounge.com
I think it is helpful as I want to find an arab guy and where I live there is not much of them or I do not know how to contact them.I really envy those ppl that live in their perspective countries, things will be much more easier.

online dating is extremely dangerous. ppl lie, there was a story abuot some girl who gave her address to some guy and he tried to kidnap her. rabna satar, but still. also its not the same as meeting a person face to face, cuz u cant ask about the person. etc.

online dating is a good thing, and i met my other half online and now we're engaged about to get married. athor times it can be very bad if one of the people messaging is a lier, so it depends, but most of the time it is a bad thing
am just really lucky to have found my other half
