I know you are angry because Raya insulted the Egyptians first. You have a right to, but I ask you not to lump all Lebanese in the one corner. I also get angry when someone insults my country and my people. Raya does not speak on behalf of Lebanese, and what she says will neither affect or hinder life in Egypt, I do not believe Egyptians are waiting for her approval or love. Yes she was rude, very rude. Having said that, yes as Lebanese we have culture, we have dignity, we have loyalty. I do not believe any other country would handle a civil war as well as we did, You do not know anything about the people in the north, south or a lot of places in Lebanon. Yes, we do love to live and dress, but I think we deserve it after such a long turbulent time. People in Lebanon just want to enjoy life. However many people are trying to get by, like many others in the Arab world. I always wonder when people call us western wannabe's, well if some are it is no one's business but theirs. I love the west openess and lack of judgements(not all but most), a person's way of life is their own. There is no such thing as quantity or quality that exclusively applies to one country.
