I have always known that some singers have had a few plastic surgeries, but not too long ago I found out almost every single male or female artist has done at least one or more plastic surgery!!
They say in 20 years from now people wouldn’t ask each other if they have had any plastic surgeries, but instead they will ask HOW MANY!
Plastic surgeries were supposed to be for people in need of them, now everyone is having them... Among famous Arab singers that have had surgeries: Eline Khalaf, Nancy Ajram, Nawal Elzoughbi, Elissa, Haifa Wehbe, Katia, Amal Hijazi & many more.
Tell us what you think about plastic surgery, and the fact that many celebrities have had plastic surgeries to gain more fame?
By guest writer Safa
my question is to you safa how did you get your information from, how do you know that all these singer that you gave as an example did plastic surgerys. I happened to know that amal had not done any. Because she talked about it on a show and she did that she didn't have any and as i look at her old and new pictures her face and body are exactly the same. The difference is only in her hair style..

I'm with you libangil.& did nancy have plastic surgury? I know hafia did,I think.
P.S Who is thatin the picture?
its sad really, and you are right safa, male artists are getting plastic surgeries too. suchs as assi el hellani and wael kfori. i wonder if all the arab celebs go to the same plastic surgeon because they all starting to look alike.
I gotta say something long & ever so boring peeps :-) Right this problem is way bigger then any of u may think. Fair enough that dealing with external physical faults does not make up for any internal damage that these individual ladies have. And actually as soon as one opts to put their skin under the knife, u r unlikely to stop (with cheek, boob and bum implants u can't stop coz they need to be changed every 8-15 years I believe). Let me mention saba7 whom begun her plastic surgery as a middle aged woman, Nancy had it as a girl and it horrifies me to think about what she'll look in a few decades, but anyway I hope she gets the common sense to realize that she’s gotta stop sooner or later before beginning a life of deterioration.
The bigger problem is in the medical field itself...Doctors are very, very important for our health and we need surgeons who can provide us with the services that matter most. However with the increase in demands for beautifying surgery or cosmet treatments the doctors are leaping into the fields of plastic surgery simply on the basis that it is more in demand and the money multiplies at incredible rates. Consequently important surgery has far lesser doctors and we are talking about lesser doctors available for Real People with Real problems such as heart disease, cancers or tumas, liver problems and the list goes on and on forevermore. These operations are more time consuming however the cost of them is terrifyingly high because there simply aren’t enough doctors in the more important fields anymore. A plastic surgeon can have over 10 maybe 20 patients a day depending on his working hours and therefore he is earning money like a takeaway outlet and this is part of the takeaway lifestyle...you go into the surgery and come out with what you want, a pair of fish lips or a pair of what oft appears to be anything between a pair of tennis balls to a pair of watermelons forced beneath the skin of your chest. However, none of these bimbos be they male or female are actually contemplating or thinking about the implications of what they are demanding; and every single patient of plastic surgery is to blame because what you are doing is making it harder for a child with serious health conditions or someone elderly with a small pension to get the operation they need because the ‘important’ doctor will have a huge waiting list which will take so much time to get through and this doctor will see that his expertise is not common and thus he will raise his prices. And as you all know I hope: Important surgery to save a life, or to replace a damaged organ, or for disabilities or for therapy treatments can cost 10 to 20 times the price of a nose job. That’s why surgery is wrong...it's not a personal issue...it's a humanitarian crisis which people don't seem to understand. If millions upon millions of people are under going plastic surgery globally then off course doctors will become far more attracted to its easy money lifestyle and the celebrity consumers (ranking between A-listers to Z-listers), and its less hour procedures and the increase of daily patients. And that’s why those people are so vain and so fickle...they are telling us they wanna work for united nations and humanitarian issues and they wanna help orphans, and be the next Ghandi’s or Mother Theresa’s...yet they are part of the root cause whom make so many millions of people lesser likely to find doctors with somewhat affordable prices, if affordable at all. They are so wrapped up in their own mirror image that they are too blind to reflect on what they are taking part in and it is truly a blind mans gamble. In fact there is a lot of concern in the lessening rates of doctors who are choosing to be heart surgeons and brain surgeons and what not...because the allure and faux pas magnetism of plastic surgery is consuming us normal folk as well as the untalented elite of the entertainment world which in turn grabs the focus of a doctor making a decision about his/ her future. I'm sorry to babble and I’m sure none of you will understand what I am banging on about but I hope you do because it's such an important issue. I mean how can u even begin to respect someone who on the one hand is undergoing any surgery in the market and by now I am sure u all know what the list is...brow lift, nose job (and yes they can be very subtle or very overdone), thicker lips, chiselled cheekbones or implanted cheeks 2 give lift, boobs, tummy tucks, liposuction on stomach or thighs, moulding of the ankles...etc its the typical betty-boop list and it’s making everyone look the same not to mention botox and collagen and the poisons being pumped into peoples bodies...absolute disgrace in my opinion! I can't make sense of anyone who chooses to except this with the reasoning of 'it's their life', 'it makes people look sexy' when every drop of passion comes from our heart, mind and guts.
Not to mention the effects of the future generations when for instance Nancy has a daughter who indicates the signs of having Nancy’s nose pre-surgery or more so the nose her genes passed onto her and which may possibly get passed onto one of her kids; the child will glare at her and either wonder or say ‘mummy, where did I get my nose from?’ and Nancy will reply ‘oh well u have the same nose that I used to have darling, only I didn’t like it so I decided to get rid of it…u can chisel yours too when u reach 16 because that’s the minimum legal age of my procedure so u’ll just have to live with it for now!’ Believe it or not world…u can change whatever u like…your kid will still carry your genes and question why he or she looks different…and will a generation of children with a lowering self esteem and an increasing physical self consciousness then there is very little hope for the future!
Waleg can i have the prize for longest post ever?
*...about what she'll look like in a few decades...
*...beautifying surgery or cosmetic treatments...
*...and with a generation of children...
sala7tohom khalas.
ooh please sam, what in the world??? come on, i just want to know how do you know that nancy had ever done a surgery, i want you to look at the first clip that she made when she was what 15 or 16 years old and her latest one and see that she is the same. However everyone grows up they don't look exaclty as they are when their grown.
yo... i think that picture is some freaky creeepy sh!t....very disturbing....pics like that should come with some kinda warning, cuz quite frankly, i dun think i'll be able to sleep oufffffffff
LOL....!!! MYA, I totally agree wih u. They do look alike same nose same lips yeah it is true.
Leila...Nancy has admitted it herself...don't just rush to defend everyone and anyone just because u happen 2 like them...she was asked on TV (lbc) and she stated during an interview that she had 16 surgeries the first one of which being on her nose when she was 16. Following her admission many TV shows on other channels have queried her decisions to undergo so many surgeries at such a young age. Actually I am somewhat glad that she had the balls to admit it rather then hiding or denying it as the common case is. But I never approve regardless. The net is full of pre-surgical images of her and others. If u wanna talk about Haifa the woman of 35/36 without a single frown line on her face and with nostrils that look like they barely suck in enough Oxygen then there are pictures of her on an official photography website displaying her in a bikini where her bosoms look like 2 hard tennis balls. Razan, the TV presenter: I doubt there is any dispute with her. Even the so called natural beauties are having procedures done, Catherine Zeta was photographed wearing dark black sunglasses leaving a surgery which deals with the facial area including skin around the eyes and later people noticed smooth skin instead of the few wrinkles (or what I prefer to call expression lines) around her eyes that she displayed prior to her visit. People do have common sense Leila don't underestimate it. Even Marilyn Monroe had surgery, she had her chin shortened and her forehead lengthened using laser treatment to push back her hairline as well as having some lower ribs removed in order to have her waist tightened. It’s not something new and it’s not something which will end.
Correction: Not 16 surgeries; it's a double number which includes cosmetical treatments such as her teeth and filling her lips which aren't classified as surgery.
hey guys, amal hijazi did do a surgery cuz i my mail i got about 20 photos of singers be4 n after n shes was 1 of them...she said it in an interview 2..she did her nose n something else!!
but i mean all this stuff is skary.iunno y people wanna play withthemsleves, they should thank god they are born NORMAL!!
I think its pretty sad, first they all look horrible, don't they know that? don't they see it for themselves? its pretty pathetic that everyone in Lebanon, from singers to Tv presenters to the population itself considers this to be normal, like a trend or something....why, are we that ugly that we need to do this...the thing is that they look far worst after the suggery..Nawal el zoghby for instance was Beautiful and lots of her success came with the fact that she was good looking at first, and she does this to herself and ruins herself like that...same thing for Haifa, elissa nancy and all the other "starlettes" .... Someone should fire their consultants or stylists or whomever is telling them that they actually do look good like that. pathetic
no one is natural anymore, everything is fake, and worst of all, looks fake...how horrible of a job does the plasticians do for them to look fake, usually we have these surgeries to better ourselves, not to make ourselves look worst...sad.
wow sam that was long. ur rite mya, they all look the same. if anyone here watched the swan on mbc 4, a show were a bunch of doctors got 2gether 2 ruin ppls looks, ull notice that they did the same surgeries for all the women.
it's like who cares. ya3ne wat is it to u if they have surgeries or not?? they're wasting their money and time. But wat r they gonna do if their not satisfied then their not satisfied.at least some admit their uglyness and say they had plastic surgeries unlike other stars who sit there and brag about themselves and how they have fans, there are some singers who haven't done any surgeries and ppl still accuse them. if the all women had plastic surgeries it would be a civil war cuz we would all look good with that much surgeries done and that much makeup on. but all i know is that if u don't have enuf self confidence in urself then getting ur nose done will not help cuz ur gonna get addicted of being "perfect" by searching for other problems with ur image!!!!
