
Sometimes we watch TV continuously for hours and are not aware of that. The thing is it isn't only bad for the eyes, it also negatively affects emotional health!
If you feel down, or your mood isn't the right color, then turn off the TV !
Watching too much television is associated with higher rates of depression in both men & women in a recent study. Regardless of your gender, spending less time engaging in TV viewing and more time engaging in physical activity is a great prescription for boosting your mood.
So, don't watch as much TV, and talk a walk or play basketball, or even read a book and sip some lemonade!

but tv makes me happy...like wen me n my family sit 2geda n watch tele...its nice! but when i feel depressed de only fng dat can make me beta is chattin 2 my mum.
but i understand what u mean... like sittin 2 long infront of the tv can turn u into a coach potatoe..n become a fat depressed slob

I liked the post and i think its nice to make a fact like that clear to everyone, but on the other hand I really cant stop watching TV or even reduce the time i sit watcbing TV.. I have a TV in my room which makes me watch TV all the time while i am in my room :)
What do you normaly prefer?? Watching tv or using the computer for example... For me, I really spend a lot of time on computers and on watching tv, so we need to find a solution for that :) hehe

About tv i really love watching tv but i think thats wrong and i beleive that yeah it may cause depression when u have nothing to do except watching tv
so i guess it s a hobby but as everything else when it s too much it becomes a negative thing so kolo bel ma32ool as they say

i like watching tv, what is wrong to watch. i always see my drama everyday and watching scary movies.
yeah that's right !! when i am deppressed i can't watch TV at all !! it makes me more down :s
i agree egyptian and proud and i am an egyptian and really proud hahahahahahahahah i love watching tv and i think it helps u get out of the depression
None of this is actual fact, it more like a theory. If it was fact, then that would mean that i would become depressed when i watch tv, but thats false, as everyone around me knows. I can watch tv for hours, then stop and just go out and do something.
