Tonight the prime was to the lighter side; Beautiful and funky tableau’s and portraits, young guests like Shereen from Egypt, Yuri Marqadi and Adam from Lebanon.
One of the most interesting things this prime, was the reportage about Rola Saad, who has made things clear about her still being behind the cameras and beside the students all the way.
The nominees were Rym Ghazali from Algeria for the second time, Mohammad Dousari from Saudi Arabia for the second time as well, and Walid Samara from Jordan for the first time.
The top student this week was Hani from Egypt, and he won a trip to the country were he grew up; Belgium.
The voting results which were revealed at the end were for the benefit of Rym Ghazali. As for the students, they chose Walid to stay, while Mohammad Dousari has no choice but to pack his bags and leave.

Listen first of all STUDENTS VOTE FOR WHO THEY WANT! OK! They put pressure on themselves to vote people of their own country. But Mohammad Fahd said: NO I WILL VOTE FOR WHO DESERVES IT. Star Academy is all about talent, and i believe Walid has the talent. Mohammad D. doesn't have a good singing voice. It's kind of like what Ossama Rahbani said about him he looks like a bird that just came out of a water. He looks as if he is not comfortable singing when he is on stage as well. After beeing criticized by Marwa and Reem for not voting for his felow man, he said that i voted for him against my best friend (Manal) last week and he (Dossari) should appreciate that.. and that this week something bad happened between them so he thought that he dosen't deserve to stay.. This prime was alright except it would have been MUCH MUCH better if Manal was still there. Manal is beautiful, honest and did not deserve to go out. Manal we love you so much!

Hani is also really gud, as for Reem, shes lucky shes got the LBC behind her. She only got the highest votes becuase the LBC didnt want another girl to leave because it would make it way uneven. Oh well next week or the week after that Reem will finally go!

nicole, you may be right you may not, but I don't believe you AT ALL. There are 3 contestants of Star Academy from Egypt, 4 from the Khaleej(considered a country to most people in this show), 2 from Lebanon,and 2 from Tunis. Plus I never heard complaints. That has never been a problem on Star Academy relating to the fact of excessive contestants from the same country. And plus Rym earned her votes because think about it, Algiers, FRANCE!, Canada, Tunis, Morocco, and Selmas Audience ( The fact she has a sisters audience doesnt mean she doesnt have her own) as well as other scattered fans.I Know she isnt top 8 material but she deserves a couple more weeks and for DOSARY to take her place would be AWFUL. So I mean she earned her stay, plus DOSARY had to go. And Last year when Selma was a nominee for the first time she got a lot of votes as well and was saved by the AUDIENCE. Asked for Walid STAYING, I'm extremely happy! He finally got a wake up call and hopefully will keep his head in the game to never be nominated again and be better than that TOP 1 Walid we used to know. The top 5. Not as I predicted (EXCEPT HANAA I SAID SHE WOULD BE 4). I thought Wajdi, Chayma, and Joseph would be there. But Khalifa, Hani, and Mohammad Fahd took their place. Though out of the those three Mohammad Fahd deserved it the most, improvement wise, might I add he did really well at the prime tonight. Asked for performances, I didnt see a lot of MAYA, ISSA, MARWA, MOHAMMAD IBRAHIM, and KHALIFA. Saw too much of HANI, CHAYMA, MOHAMMAD FAHD, FADY, HANAA, and RAKIYA. My favorite performance was the one w/ MAYA and WAJDI, the "I believe I can fly" Thats only song I got "i7sass" from as the teachers like, or Emotion. There is a real strong chemistry between MAYA and WAJDI especially when they perform together which is ALOT, I guess LBC likes them together, SO FADY WATCH OUT! I hate FADY I mean first he is in girlfriend mode and acts like shes all he can think of, then two seconds later hes hitting on Marwa, Rakiya, or MAYA or maybe another chick. I dont know if VIVIAN Likes that. If Fady is NOT THE NEXT TO LEAVE than I will be mad, unless ISSA leaves in his place. ISSA and (or) FADY have to go, I find them the worst two as of now, since DOSARY is gone. This prime in my opinion was the best one so far. Good performing, good results! Let me clarify one more thing. People saying stuff like "Maya is spoiled on the show and they show her tooooo much in the primes" Well heres something she only sang 2 or 3 times each prime these last few ones. And please I know its YOUR opinion. BUT I MEAN, Maya is the only contestant that has maintained a flawless Top 5 record. I mean LBC cant be that dumb and pick someone talentless to have an achievement that high. So I mean give the girl a chance and check out her WORK ETHIC along w/her TALENTS, and teaching other contestants skills. Anyway...... And yes that is why the Star Academy France is more successful and fair, they are all from the same country. So GET THIS!! Wouldnt it be kewl if our ACADEMY WAS FAIR AND BASED ON TALENT? lol.. Well thats the it should be and CONGRATS TO M.FAHD he was the first contestant EVER in star academy history to take a step towards VOTING ON TALENT. Once Hilda announced that Walid was a nominee The first person to go up to him was M.Fahd and said itll be ok, you'll be back. Plus lets recall PRIME 4. Manal and M.Fahd were really close! I mean practically best friends. It was voting time. M.Fahds turn, He says "Manal you are one of my best friends but I decided Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Dosary". It was 7 and 7, M.Ibrahim decides the results and he says "Sorry Manal, Sorry Lebanon, but Mohammad Dosary, waldeertee." And There she goes, by one VOTE she (MANAL) leaves the academy as the 3rd person to go. All the rest of the students went back to the academy. Mohammad El Dosary thanked all who voted for him, except one. Mohammad Fahd, it was like Mohammad Dosary thought "oh, Mohammad Fahd is Saudi Arabian, he HAS to vote for me, I dont have to thank him" and did just that, showing no appreciation for his vote whatsoever, now if M.Fahd voted on who he thought deserved it he would have voted for MANAL, but no he voted by pressuring himself about his country, like all contestants from the same country. So Mohammad Fahd thought when the nominees were announced " Oh, I know Walid has a better voice than Mohammad Dosary, Mohammad Dosary never appreciated my VALUABLE vote to him last week..." So.... its voting time, First to vote is Mohammad FAHD. Hilda goes Mohammad , he pauses for a second or two, and says "WALID." And right there Dosary's face was bitter, and furious, you couldnt quite see it but everyone new he was MAD. But Fahd taught people a lesson and that lesson is SHUT UP AND VOTE FOR WHO DESERVES IT!!

I think Joseph shouldn't be in the academy he should be kicked out with fadi and hani they think that they are the best in the academy,but they sing from nose ,and try to be cool (bas damhm t2eeeeeeeeeel). also 3esa and mohamad they have no talent at all, also they are ugly. I was really shocked by Mohammad Fahad's vote for Waleed. I like Fahad and think he has a good voice and is a good dancer. I know it is about talent not fellow countrymen, but it was obvious that Dosary will lose so all that was needed from Fahad was emotional support for Dosary who is a caring, shy and polite person. I will never forget how worried Dosary was when he carried Fahad who suffered a nervous breakdown and then told him don't worry we are all your brothers and we'll be here for you. I also know that Dosary doesn't have a very good singing voice(same for Fady, Reem, Wajdy and Maya- the last two are really awful in Arabic), even though he did much better in his last prime. I understand that Fahad might have thought that Waleed deserves to stay (which he does), but Waleed would have understood Fahad's choice if he voted otherwise. Again, I am disappointed at Fahad. His vote for Dosary wouldn't have made a difference, except showing the-definite-to-lose Dosary that he gave him EMOTIONAL SUPPORT.

I think some of them are improving, however some of them are there for show. A few have the potential to be real stars. It is obvious from the previous winners that this show is not about who has the best voice, but who can entertain more.
Even though I am lebanese, I was happy that Manal left. She became awful after being nominated again. She was going around spreading lies and trying to gain sympathy to insure votes. She tried to influence others and called a few others snakes just because she didn't get her way. I do not blame Shayma for not choosing her. She was very rude to her and tried to make up for it a day before the prime to win her vote. Even after leaving, they were still talking about her for days(the only time that happened so far) since she chose to play the role of a victim. I hope she didn't fool many.
I'm glad that Fahd voted for the most talented and potential of the two. Nationalities, religion and gender should not be considered when voting this is a show about talent and having fun, Dossari did not fit. Saying that, Fadi did the exact opposite when voting for Walid by saying that "Jordan and Palestine are one".
Now some comments:
1- Marwa should be out. Absolutely no talent, extremely boring and too artificial.
2- Wajdi should be in the Top 5. It just doesn't make sense.
3- M. Fahd is indeed improving, but he irritates me. The way he speaks English (fake accent), dances (takes himself too seriously) and looks (what's with the hair?).
4- Hani is quite charismatic, well educated, good dancer and with some talent. He is the male version of Maya. They will stay till the end to help with the foreign language songs, but they don't have a chance in winning.
Finally, Sherin was really good. She has an amazing voice, great songs, intense charisma and so natural "real".

You know I liked this prime because I'm Hani's fan and now he's top one.Also I liked walid and Reem to be saved and now they are saved too but in spite of all of them after the results announcement I felt sad.All of the people even Reem's fans know that Walid is better than Reem and Dossary but according to the people's votes he got less votes than Reem and even Dossary.It's shameful.I think it's all because of our wrong beliefs.We think that we must vote to our country contestant without considering other factors like voice and talent.I admire Mohammad Fahad for his decision. It was a difficult decision .He's a great man.I heard some Saudi hackers have closed all of his sites.I'm sorry for those sick people.
Maybe star academy seems to be a game for us but it's a major part in their lives.If it was not the way of the program that the students must choose the second person and it was all people's votes now Walid was out of the academy because regarding to people votes Reem and Dossary were prefered over him.
I think it's an appropriate time for us to change our way and stop voting to the contestants of our countries who have not any voice and talent.Star academy is not a competition between Arab countries to achieve the title.The winner will represent middle-east star academy so it's better for us to choose the best contestant.

First of all.. Attiya did it out of love not hate.. he voted for Mira cuz he loves her not cuz he hates Yaser.. while Fahad voted against Dossari out of hate and revenge.
Second.. Attiya was loved by everyone all ages... and all nationalities... i don't say that Egyptians didn't vote.. they did but i knew people with all varieties vote for him like they never did for someone else... and believe me... Mohd. Fahad dose not have 10% of that love and he will never do.
Third.... Attiya had something (acceptable face, average dancer, good voice, great actor, great stage presence and charisma) you can't but love him.. Fahad on the other hand has those stereotypic jerky moves .. nothing else.
Last but not lest Attiya spent the next two weeks after that just apologizing to the egyptian audience whenever he could.. i hope Fahad will recognize his mistake and do the same before its too late...

It was a shock to us Saudis after last night's concert, the web forums and text channels are still active and full of people who are utterly mad at Mookha after what he did to Mohamad Al Dossari. Believe me it's embarressing and frustrating to witness a thing like that. I like Waleed, he's a nice person but he said something to Issa with Shayma's presence when Al Dossari, Ibrahim and Manal were nominees. I'm not trying to cause a fight with his fans because I never expected Waleed who's mature and soft spoken to say such a thing.

Mohd. Ibrahim... equals money for the LBC (Khalil as Joseph describe them) so he might be nominated next week but just for collecting money... the guy will also stay there for a while.
Issa... i like the guy he is bald, fat, lazy and he makes me laugh... i hope that he wont be nominated although he is a big possibility for that.
Hana, Shayma, Joseph and Raqiya the most talented so they wont be on the nomination list unless someone screw very badly.

First of all, I don't know why people are making such a big deal of M.Doussary's departure.
He was going to leave this week or the next.. it was kind of obvious that the teachers didn't want him to stay, and that they were going to nominate him untill he left.. It was only a matter of time.
Personally, I think he is the worst student at the academy (along with Essa from Bahrain and M.Ibrahim from Kuwait).. all the Khaleeji students are awefull and useless. People should cut M.Fahad some slack for not choosing to vote for M.Doussary. Walid was winning anyway, weather M.Fahd Voted for him or not. So people should understand that "Lame & Useless" Doussary's loss and departure had nothing to do with M.Fahad. It has nothing to do with politics! This is our main problem as Arabs, we are always fighting about stupid things and turning everything into "War Of The Worlds". Take it easy, people! It's just a T.V. Show that's meant for entertainment! Big Deal!
I am a saudi myself, and for people who don't know this, M.Doussary is not very popular with people in our country. Everyone agrees that he has no talent and no character at all. Most people are supporting M.fahad, who is not exactly the best at anything.. but still a decent dancer and "performer" if that counts for something these days. My Vote goes to Joseph, who is hands down, the best student in the academy by far. Joseph is very charismatic and has a very good singing voice (reminds me of Ramy Ayach, does anyone else agree?).. People (voters) are not fair and never will be, and the star this year will not deserve to win anyways, as usual. I wouldn't be shocked if this year's star turns out to be Hani (who teenage girls will vote for because of his looks), Maya (who thinks she is godsend) or Shayma (who is not as great as she thinks she is).
Good luck Joey, you deserve to win, or at least move ahead and stay to the very end.

I am not defending M.Fahad. Truth is.. I can't stand him! We all know he's a poser and he totally thinks he is like Usher or Justin Timberlake. The guy is pathetic. I was just comparing between the two Saudi guys and I happen to think that M.Fahad is WAAAAY better than the "Joke" that was M.Doussary .. and that's all there was to it.
He's not going to win. He's not that great at all.
Bottom line is, you can't really blame the guy for trying to improve himself. He is the best khaleeji contestant (just because the others are completely useless)..
