WALEG, You just watched MOI place that comment and didn't say anything? MOI, geography has nothing to do with it. Its talent, and qualities. And plus lets say you are right. Then it would make sense for Hanaa to leave next.. Hmm something doesn't sound right. Hanaa was just in the top 5 yesterday. Would it make sense for her to become a nominee next week? I mean plus the academy loves her. AND NO WAY will tunisians be the next to leave. This year the tunisian contestants are OUTSTANDING. I agree Maya Sucks! Yes she can play piano and guitar (so what?) Her voice is too high pitched and always cracks. I don't know why LBC keeps shinning the light on her. i think everyone here should go and have their ears checked: wajde cant sing, how can anyone say he can sing. actually only two ppl have the potential to have good voices thats the last morrocan girl (sorry cant remember her name) and mohammed fahd (yes he is weird but he can sing and he does work hard) but then again star academy is not just about voices, its an allround talent show. so maya has a chance in winning cause she is a musical genius, reem can win too cause she would be great as a porn star, khalifa a drag queen.... etc everyone got a talent.

Maya sucks!! She cant sing. The only thing she is good for is playing the piano. This competition is more then just playing a musical instrument. I use to like Manal, but she too is stuck up. Though Khalifa is gay, he has a better voice then some of the boys. I really dont see GREAT talent this year as I did the first 2 years. Hopefully they all improve soon and we can choose a winner.

Trak, you might need to clean your ears cause Maya sucks! She cant sing english, she cant sing arabic, she cant sing period. She sounds like a child. Her voice is so high-pitched. When she sings with other students it sounds awful cause all you hear is her voice. Everyone in the academy is better then her. I hope shes out this week.

tweety, don't take it personal. I have no problem with him being a gay. I have problem with his personality. I think he is a fake. Actually I feel sorry for him. After the Academy, I think people will be more meaner to him. As we know that Arabic societies are hypocrite and prejudice and will discriminate against him. He will never be taking seriously. Also there is noting wrong with being female impersonator. Drag queens show in Las Vegas are really popular and lot of people go to see them. I personally think it's very hard job and I give them credit for being great at it. Trust me if Arabic countries were more open minded, I would have said he would make it as Star. If he want to make it as a singer he needs to work on hiding his feminine side like Hani.

I can't believe people are missing this! Maya's intelligence, operation, control, voice, instrumental ability, I mean please hear me out. Maya got 2 in the Top 5 twice! You can't suck to do that! She plays guitar, and was the only girl in Knock Knock Knockin on Heavens Door. She plays piano too and will and might cause michel to step aside and let her do the piano playing in all primes. You can't suck to do that. She is always in the front of the students in the opening of each prime, because they obviously believe she is the best dancer. She did the Madonna Skit wonderfully! In class she dominates the students and knows what shes doing. YOU CANT SUCK TO DO THAT! She sang A3eesha w/Wajdi, Hanaa and Cheb Khalid SO GOOD! I Listen to it a lot everyday on my computer. In evaluation she knows absolutely what to do! She gives the group ideas and they take on to them and all help make it better!!! YOU CANT SUCK TO DO THAT!!!!! So please you guys are giving MAYA a fraction of the recognition and compliments she deserves! GO MAYA YOU ROCK!

dandooneh, Your saying exactly what I said! And I am from Jordan, too lol. But I am glad that I'm not the only person that says QUALITY FIRST!!! not country. And yes I support Walid and he is a great dude, but he isn't my favorite, which is alright. First I like Wajdi, the guy acts like hes been in the show business for years, when hes on stage he does everything right and acts like everytime he performs is his last, I actually think he will win. Then I like Maya. Boy can that girl work the stage. She plays good, sings good, acts good, and always has confidence and is like a wacky spontanious thing about her that a star needs. THEN I like Walid. The Guy sings REAL GOOD! he was my favorite but ever since he got Top 1 the first week he took the glory in and hasn't focused as well as he could, which I hope changes. But anyway the guy knows what hes doing and is good REAL REAL good on the guitar. Then I like Shaymat, her voice is strong and pure, that speaks for itself , kind of like AMANI last year, she has a special focus when she sings a special charm. And finally Hanaa, she can adapt so well and can take charge of all songs and be the leader, and a star has to be a leader to succeed. So those are my fav. 5 and why! I just hope you all look at the quality and not the flag they wear.
