The first runner up is Anabella Hilal, and the second runner up is Nadine Yazbek.

I think she must be very rich and her father was shahid in the war...and maybe an old friend of Simon Asmar...Anabella was winning until they asked Gabrielle a question and she started to cry and talk about her father died in the war...after that they gave her SUCH A HIGH SCORE after answering the question...

I wanted Annabella. This is so unfair. They always cHoose the people that suck. In Star Academy, Hisham won, In alwadi, Meshari won, and now this. OMG I HATE THIS.
Shee shee and angel... I taped the prime and checked the scores... I added Anabellea scores and Gabrielle scores...
Anabella had total (swimsuit, dress, speaking): 29.49
Gabrielle had total (swimsuit, dress, speaking): 29.48
So with the judges in the studio, Anabella won...
BUT
The vote is 75% judges and 25% of people who call and vote on the phone...
SO this means the only way Gabrielle beat Anabellea was votes from outside. And you know they let people from all over the world vote...and all ARAB COUNTRIES...which is the reason why. Anabella was good enough for MISS UNIVERSE...Gabrielle will be amoung the first OUT of the competition.

Unlike u guys, I'm happy with the results. Now before this prime i wanted Anabella to win, but during the prime, Gabriella was the only one who managed to perform catwalks without almost tripping, her answer was far better than Anabella's who was almost shaking of fear, plus her face looked much more relaxed than Anabella. Anyway, I wish Gabrielle the best of luck as Miss Lebanon and I wish Anabella a very beautiful future...

Why oh why isn't Nadine Njeim in the Miss World competition??? Wasn't she first place?
As usual, you cry a little and tell a sad story and bam! you can be the most regular looking girl and there you are 10 minutes later, crowned Miss Lebanon! I wish Anabella had been smart enough to talk about a dead person (b3eed el shar) in her family so she could have won. Anabella was poised, beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, and everything that a young Lebanese girl could be. She repped ASHRAFIEH in a great way! I hope she has a bright future and a lot of success, she's really a role model.
As for Gabrielle, she's cool but HELLO she is going to be SOOOOO OVERLOOKED at Miss Universe and whatever international competition she attends...there are plenty of girls that look just like her, in Lebanon and elsewhere too!
Plus it wasn't fair that she got to pause for like a minute between her first answer and her second answer lol, after the question was asked. That was a total fraud.
Plus the Bou Rashed family is huge and who the heck has heard of Hillal ? I'm sure Gabrielle's family has more people power to make those crucial phone calls.
And I'm with you guys that no country besides Lebanon should be able to vote but LBC does this for two reasons...more money for them with an increased amount of votes (specially those competitive arabs gulf states) and also, the lebanese diaspora population is larger by so much than the population of Lebanon inside the country...so if they make it so that only people inside lebanon can vote, we lebanese outside of our country would not be able to represent our candidate!

I know that Anabella deserves the crown more than Gabrielle, however this doesn't mean that Gabrielle doesn't deserve it too! She's self-confident, smart, and most importantly special looking. So stop speaking about her like she's a scare-crow.
Anyway, Hally, Anabella is not Druze, she is from Zahle and lives in Ashrafieh and anyway I think that if you heard he report on the first prime you would have realized that she's not. Moreover, if you're saying so, then why would the judges have put marks for her that are higher than Gabrielle???
As for the guy who was saying that Gabrielle will be outlooked in the world beauty pageant, here's a fact: Gabriella ended up 4th in Miss Asia last year, so don't talk about something you know nothing about.

Ok. Let's talk seriously. I was sooo in chock when i saw the finals. There was a site, where professional people, where telling the results of every prime. So i was always log on this site. And ALWAYS Anabella was FIRST, then Abir, then Nadine. THOSE WHERE THE WINNERS.
There was a votting going on FROM THE PUBLIC saying : Abir would win with the 25 %. So when she got 4th Runner Up, i said to my familyy HAHAH, ANNABELLA TOOK IT! Then there was ONLY Annabella and Gabriella. I when they said the winner i couldnt beleive it.
Now back to to the start of the primes.
1- Annabella ALWAYS got the higher scores.
2- Gabriella doesnt know how to walk.
****3- The last prime, they made a BIG mistake. Gabrielle answered her final question and stop. the jury then puts their votes and she restarts her answers. SO, the marks STAYED on what she said in first. And, sorry to say that, but i'm shure during this 30 sec of "break" she said to her self "I SHOULD CRY". and so she did

well i have a question.. lets say that the scores of the judges were close.. and you're saying that 25% were to the people watching and voting.. BUT and there is big BUT basically all the votes went to Abir layous and Reem Moukarzel because the girls did really score so so so low.. during the prime and so they shifted everything up after that.. so here is what i think.. my friend told me that Anabella was sure and even told that she was going to win yet it was a prank from LBC to show viewers that anything is possible and if you ask me, as a personal analysis, i would say it is a way of giving to NIDAL BCHARAWI the right that Lamita lost.. Lamita and Gabrielle both are Bcharawi's models..

she won on Friday December 9, 2005. i remember she got so happy when they mention her name. That was most lunatic, she is lebanese, and she dont care for haife and nawal to meet them and chat. i dont think she did spend the money for her family.
