Take 24 off the air. It's offensive to Arabs and Muslims. As a westerner I can't believe you allow a show like 24 to air. I think people get enough of this on CNN without having to look like the bad guy on this show. Remember the Cowboy and Indian shows of the past?
The Native American Indian was always the bad guy and the cowboy who took their land was the good guy. Why do you promote a show that demeans you? I'm not Arab. I see what is going on in some of these shows. You shouldn’t have to have people like me write you unless you've already lost your identity.

It does portray muslims as terrorrists.It is quite popular due to the well written script and the professional cast.To tell the truth I only watch few minutes of it,I stay away from shows like this.Do they not have good muslim characters?they usually do.
The cold war being over,Russians do not seem like good material for playing the evil characters.I like to watch Kiefer Sutherland relaying the message that the show does not represent the Muslim community.
The identity thing as an arab does not exist,only as muslim or christain.

I haven't watched 24 yet and I still hear that it's good and worth watching, but I hate the way screen writers and directors show Arabs and Muslims as violent people who love to kill. There's a new movie called Flightplan and sadly, they used two men to portray themselves as Arab passengers which means that they could be highjackers. I refuse to watch this trash because I simply hate Foster and this is called stereotyping Muslims for what happened on 9/11. Terrorits srike everywhere and kill their own without pity. I wish if the late filmmaker Al Akkad were alive today so he could direct a movie on Bin Laden and show the West "our" point of view that wer're not in favor of violence and killing the innocent in the name of Islam.
NO Flightplan is an excellent movie.The arab passengers are shown in a good light.She gets suspicious of them,but it turns out someone else is behind the evil plot"do not want to ruin it for anyone".Go see it,it is awsome.Jodie Foster is brilliant.
I don't think any of you have watched 24 because if you had you would have seen it is GREAT for us Arabs. The story is actually about the American government faking a terrorist attack on the US by 4 Arab countries, and they do this so that they can start a war and gain power over our oil. The president in 24 is a 'good guy' and doesnt want war but his men attack him for Arab money....it makes Arabs look great and seems to be all about Iraq, Syria, Iran etc. Watch it you'll love it walla.

Yes I heard of Prison Break it's a new show with a cast of cool actors one of them by the way has Lebanese ancestory, his name is Wentworth Miller. Perhaps One tv or MBC 2 will broadcast it someday.

I agree with you on "It’s WRONG to judge a whole nation, on bunch of ppl acts!!!!" but you can't state this and then write "I’ll make a TRUE and an offensive show (international) about the bastard American and the Isralelain!!!" because these soldiers are doing teir job which is to follow 'certain" people's orders. {Comes with the job}.
And let's not go to Sabra and Shateela topic because honestly the "campers" had it comming after all the slayings that were commited by palestinian militias and syrian forces against the lebanese, Israrlis with the Lebanese Forces only gave back a portion of what was comming if the murders don't stop.
And don't tell me about traitors and shit (if you respond).... because honestly i couldn't care less about the majority (not all....very very few are honest) of Arabic governments, or Arabism has a whole, and its corrupted figures. These people are after power and money, that's it. People are suffering and hungry, no worries as long as they could steal people's money, right ot live, righ to dream, right to have a better life etc ... it's all good.
As far as 24, it's a good show, and well written, these people are actors and at the end of the day they want to get their paycheck (just like anybody). If you don't like the idea of the show, why watch it in the first place.
