During the last weeks of 2004, Tunisian star-singer Latifa visited the Jordanian capitol Amman as a part of her successful tour in order to participate in the judge committee of the Jordanian Song Festival which was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah and Queen Rania.

The visit was considered a special one because it came after 7 years of her last visit to Jordan. During her stay, Latifa visited the SOS children village, attended a dinner party held by the Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan, another dinner held be the Jordanian singer Omar Abdullat, held many press conferences and a radio interview for the Jordanian Amman FM channel.

As for celebrating the New Year, Latifa spent the Evening with the staff of a musical program on the Egyptian channel 2 as their last 2004 guest, and welcomed the New Year 2005 in a very nice party live on TV.
