Greek singer Helena Paparizou won the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with her song 'My Number One' written by Christos Dantis and including elements of a traditional Greek dance.
The singer won it for her seductive performance of 'My Number One' a mid-tempo tune peppered with Balkan flavorings; the news was greeted with scenes of joys in Athens where hundreds of people celebrated on the streets of the Greek capital.
The prize was presented to Helena by Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko.
