Because their career depends on how they look, their public figures, they need to look the best. and since some of them dont have that beauty naturally (not everyone looks like sophia el-Marikh,lol) or have it and want to enhance it,,,,,,,,they go for plastic surgery.
Lebanese people are known to go for plastic surgery even though many of them are gorgeous! there's alot of competition.

well, to be honest.. i don't mind if the superstars get plastic surgeries. they can do what they want to. but to be honest, many guys nowadays thinks that every girl has to look in a certain way. not bothering me, cus' i like the way i look, and i could never even think about making a plastic surgery for any part of my body.. what do u guys think about they guy-thing i mentioned ?..

Also, i've read not long ago an article by an american guy, he works in L.A and holloywood, since LA has a high percentage of beautiful women, and 75% have fake breasts, he said , that it was a curse, cause he no longer felt that he can initiate an intimate relationship with AVerage looking women.

i think watching tooo much magazines full of suupermoders, watching too much videoclips full of good looking and so un-average looking ppl, can really mess the psycology of ppl .

also, i read somewhere in an artcile, about syrian women, how they wana be skinnier cause men taste has changed , from something that has some flesh to really skiny (stuff u c on t.v.)

so u it can have negative affect on how the society views wome........i mean, look at the new fashion now, everyone wants Full lips influenced by anglena jolie's lips...

Hey , i think u guys r over reacting, its just plastic surgery , not everyone is happy about how they look, yes we should respect how god made us , but would u rather live life hating your looks or live life loving yourself? and these stars who have had plastic surgery are under lots of pressure to look good for the audience , soo i say let them be let get as much plastic surgery to make them feel better about themselves. thats my opinion.

in my opinion...i dont think ppl should do plastic surgery. i mean they should love themselves for who they are. they shouldnt have to change what God gave them. everyone is gonna turn plastic soon! its like the new "in" thing..which is quite sad. but then again...the media and celebrities are not helping either. i mean no one should tell u the way u should look like. u shud love urself for u.

I wish there was a surgery like plastic surgery to people's brains. We need a surgery that make people think right and act right not only look good!!!

well i think this plastic surgery thing has gone too far ... i mean its dangerous and it could always go wrong plus its expensive ... anywayz sometimes ppl look horrible after the surgery ... and a recent example is nawal al zoghbi .. i mean come on she used to be soo cute and lovely now she is disfigured ever since she has done god knows what to her lips! (she has probably done it on other parts too) .. i mean how can she sing properley after doing that surgery!! some singers should think about their singing career before doing something like that!

Its redicilous .. i only recommend it when something is really wrong or just unbereable but i mean i know girls who have one of their features say for example .. the nose that could do with a bit of surgery .. but on the whole she still looks gorgeous .. i have seen ppl like that so really its not that bad after all ... you can still look beautiful even if there is an area or an aspect that itsnt 100% perfect!

london_gal u r right nawal zughby shocked me when I saw her lips. they look so ugly. and yes she was very cute. I only encourage plastic surgery if someone really needs it and it will make them feel better about themselves. al7amdullilah I dont need to do any surgerys for myself I would be really scared to have a surgery done like that,cause its really scary they get swollen after the surgerys and cant do stuff

i think it's crazy what's going on with the arabic stars today i mean the majority really doesn't need those surergies they become ugly and lose their natural beauty and carisma, in 2 years we won't recognize them they will all appear the same.... it's really weird i mean i would understand if a woman in fifties who wants to stay young do that but not a young beautiful lady......

dissappointed with Asala's plastic surgery. shee looked so good before.she was naturally beautiful now her nose looks like all the women who had a nose job. as if they all go under one nose cutter , they all look alike. I'm really sad she's busy with this nonsense, it's just not like her to be this silly.

personally my opinion ... all the lebanese girl singers are naturally ugly without makeup and surgery! .... haifa might be beautiful now but in years to come her implants will leak! and everything will look worse than b4...
its so ridiculous that so many of them are having surgery! ... the only thing i agree with is rhinoplasty ... because it really makes a big difference in the face! .... other than that surgery is so wrong! although i must say haifa is a beautiful fake girl! .. but ive always wondered what she really looks like under alll that makeup!...
p.s a women doesnt have to show all that skin and wear all that makeup to look beautiful!

If you look at someone like Nancy Ajram she must have started her extensive surgeries from the age of 18 or even younger. She's now going to have surgery every 10 years or so for the rest of her life to "freshen" up by the time she gets to 50 she's going to look like a freak. As for Haifa I give her 5 years max and she's going to go down hill. I think its kind of sad that everytime I go home to Beirut there seems to more and more people getting surgery done just be happy with yourself!
