I don't think the contradiction comes from the country you come from, but from the family you were raised with, I don't want to point out some examples, but I see a big contradiction between people dressed up in an open minded way which I don't see any problem with it but this same person comes from a family that the mother and sisters are all covered up to the toe!!! I personally find it strange!!!!

Bin Laden is a psycho. He did something very wrong and HARAM. What is the so HARAM about Star Academy? Did they harm anyone? Did they kill people?

Saudi Arabia people have been making a big deal about Star Academy for no reason. There is nothing wrong with the damn program. We will hear comments every year for the same nonsense reason.

If those people do not like, disagree, or even find it HARAM, then they should not watch it. Just ban the channel. Period.
Futhermore, LBC should not allow anymore students from Saudi Arabia to participate in the program. That will solve the problem and save others headaches. Those people are just too much into the religion. Everything is haram to them. An example is Waad. She is not doing anything wrong. They don't even allow her to go back to her own country. That is sick!

Did star academy contradict with my country ? I don't think so, Tunisia is more open country. But I think that star academy has to respect the culture of the other country I know LBC it's lebanese channel and they are very open country too but all arabic country are watching. The second edition they tried to fix that problem because the first one was a little bit with out any rules concerning the way to behave in the academy. And It's not because you come from a country or a family more open that you have to behave like that in the show. It's like you visit a foreign country you have to go by there rules. And students has to respect the arabic culture and when you go home you will do what ever you want .

Why the hell is LBC making a PAN-ARAB Show in the first place?
We have enough talents to make dozens of Star Academys for years to come (Much better than Samer or Katia for sure).
Sure it's making them lots of money but then again many headaches.

He made it sound as though they were sleeping in the same room, just to give added support to his dim view! He did not mention that there were so many cameras here and ther to watch their every move so no hanky panky could take place. Moslems were the first to break the rules in last year's Starac; Mohammed Atiyeh was all over the girls, hugging them and kissing them. So did Bachar, Khalawi, M. Sherif! They acted like wolves released among sheep! What hyppocrisy! Don't tell us Moslems are angels!
But true, I think this year, the rules about hugging and kissing were more stictly enforced.

the style of the program helps immoral things to happen ...

Star Academy doesn't contradict with my morals or values AT ALL. On the contrary, everything about it is so innocent its hard to believe that the contestants in star academy are of the same age as those on, for example, The Real World (here in the U.S). There is absolutely nothing sinful and the contestants living together, working together, and trying to reach their goals.
In this case, KSA comes out as being a huge hypocrite. Roughly 40-50% of forums and SMS text messages to LBC come from Saudi teens watching this program. If it is so immoral and the religious authority there is so against it, they need to NOT show it on televisions there and not give access for Saudis to use International Phone lines to vote. Its such a hypocritical thing for a country to say that the program is demeaning and sent from the devil and then have that same country emerge as the most active in voting, text messaging and viewership!

And in my opinion, the only thing in Star Academy 2 that bothered me in terms of ethics and success is the way in which students treated each other badly (namely hisham's attitudes towards students he didn't like)

the problem isnt with the students, the problem lies within the academy immoral systems such as forcing contestants to do things other than what they want ..wear sexy clothes for females .., have hair cuts or else ...,,, forcing females to dress immorally .... encouraging habits not accepted by most arabian countries

if a student doesnt go along with them, he or she are expected to be punished ...

let me put it straight... this program is a very immoral program run by very immoral people in an immoral station in a country full of immoral things ...

Algeria is very supportive to Star Academy, and 98% are muslim....
StarAcademy is respectful even the males and females are together they respect eachother and you don't see them kissing or doing anything wrong like France Starac.

We are in 2005 and such a program is great program we learned how Arabs like us leave, speak, .....All the girls that participated were decent girls from good families and knew how to act within their culture and religion.....

this nonsence is driving me crazy, last week i watched the hadeth on lbc and they were talking about hisham and what he did was wrong i understand that saudia people have this thing of not getting around girls or sllepping in the same house as the girls..who cares what saudia thinks, just because saudia and muslims have this seperationn between girls doesnt mean that they all have to folow that stupid rule, hisham did what he wanted. he didnt even do anything with the girls its not like he was all over themm.. he was moslty around the boyz..
anyway i think what zizi did was wrong all her family is dressed and covered from head to toe and she goes out on stage and wears dresses that show mostly all herr skin. and they didnt say anything about that now i think that was wrong..
