Since Star Academy started last year on the Lebanese channel LBC, we have gotten introduced to a beautiful woman called Hilda!
Hilda has been the presenter of LBC Star Academy in its two seasons so far, and she has been doing a good job.
We have seen her live on stage, and also on the Star Academy Dailies, and she has become a household face.
Do you think she was good as a presenter, or it would have been much better with another presenter, either male or female?

i really love hilda shes so amazing!! shes got this nice twinkle in her that makes her stand out from other presenters! her face just says staracademy and she has a way of presenting the show that just makes it exciting if someone else took her place it just wouldnt be the same without her no one can ever replace her i miss her as much as i miss the other students and teachers the way she said goodbye in the last yomeyat and in the prime even though it was cheerful made me sad and really realize that it was ending..anyway she completes staracademy just like the cherry on top of an icecream!!
Hilda is wikid, she really is cool, her presentation skills are good, however could be improved by practicing her breathing, i have noticed she breaths too harshly in between sentences. Her overall presentation is excellent, she is spontaneous, calm and elegant. Three qualities which make a brilliant presenter. Go Hilda we all like you, and hope you stay presenting star academy as you are the essence of the show, and she is the one who creates the star academy atmopshere! wooo!
by the way there will be no star academy 3 next year! take it from me! : )

She's cool, but she needs to train just a little bit more. But yeah, keep her, i have no problem, she's kinda old though.

Hilda is an amazing presenter you can sense her innocentcy and charm. she's doing a great job wish her all the best.... ya and her new born baby too........
Hilda is a neat, elegant and stylish Lebanese women.
She's also a professor teaching English courses and used to be a fitness trainer (I don't know if she still does it after her pregnancy)
She also took part as a contestant in a beauty pageant in the late nineties.
I think overall she does a good job presenting the show, though as most of you don't know, she often makes mistakes stating Arabic song titles and singers names because she doesn't listen to Arabic music.
She's been raised in Australia most of her life and had to do some speech training to master the Lebanese accent.
I think she's cute and should be kept on the show
personally, i think shes one of the best presenters in arabic tv. shes bautiful, charming, very elgant, tres class! and a really nice body. maybe she needs more training when it comes to pronoucing names and stuff, but to many shes's perfect at what she does.

I actually met Hilda at a common friend wedding 5 years ago (and I've got pictures to prove it). She told us a few things about Australia.
SHe's not Armenian, she's a pure-bred Lebanese maronite from the Bekaa, and lived at her parents house in the region of Fiyadieh near Baabda. She is married to a very handsome young men who owns a hotel in Kaslik-Jounieh and has one small kid name Sean.
Hilda's gorgeous and talented.
P.S. Khalife is her maiden name, Mdabber is her Husband's family name.

I believe that Hilda is a great presenter. She has got her unique ways of presenting Star Academy. Very elegant, nice, charming.
I THOUGHT Hilda was a good presenter and a gr8 person. But in the 14th prime she didnt tell zizi and hesham 2 stand in their right places like she always does... i really disliked her ever since...

Hilda IS star academy. Without her, the show would be nothing. She's funny, light-hearted, beautiful, energetic, well-educated, and is a wonderful representation of Lebanese women. Her style and manner are impeccable and she's graceful and cool at the same time. Her english is perfect and she can handle dealing with international superstars on many levels. The only thing is that her questions are often silly and repetitive, but that's not her fault cuz its the writers of the show that make them up. My family and I love watching her on the primes to see what she will be wearing and what she will be saying. In this boring season of Star Academy 2, Hilda was a breath of fresh air and it would be a huge mistake for LBC to take her off the air and replace her with some of the airhead Miss Lebanon contestants. It's enough that we have so far all agreed that we like her!

She is the best. She is better than probably anyone else the could find.
I've noticed that every one over here finds Hilda to be almost perfect, so let me play the devils' advocate! I think (i) she asks rather shallow and repetitive questions to the guests and teachers, (ii) she has to read all the questions/comments from her note cards no matter how short and basic they are which can be irritating, (iii) she acts like a robot sometimes with no sense of humor or wit. I remember when in one of the primes she said "the stage is not ready?, so let's waste some time with Wadeea" actually, I thought that was funny, but the problem she didn't mean it as a joke :-) Saying all that I think she is quite beautiful and pleasant but I think she neither adds or subtracts from the show.

Now, I'm not like Hilda's fan club president or anything of the sort, but for the sake of argument..Again, Hilda doesn't randomly make up these questions. They are written up by the writer / director of the show, probably in a last minute fashion, and don't really have anything to do with Hilda herself. She's just supposed to smile, look pretty, and make small-talk. And regarding the note-card thing, I assume that she gets them beforehand and I don't think she practices all hardcore like the students themselves do. If you notice, everything is last minute and oftentimes even the guests have no idea whats going on or whate part they are supposed to sing, walk off stage, or talk during!
Sure, Hilda is not a Barbara Walters (or a Marcel Ghanem for all you LBC watchers) but she does what she's supposed to do and is entertaining too!
Hilda is just as good/bad as anyone in the show. The students are shallow, the show is a disgrace so what shoudl we expect a normal presenter with a brain? Offcourse not, Hilda is just as ignorant as the show itself. She is PERFECT for such an idiotic show. Sorry to burst your bubbles guys ;)

Hilda has a very nice figure, beautiful smile and face, kind to all the students - wearing beautiful dresses . She is perfect for this show.

I used to go to school in Louizeh with Hilda Khalife. She moved to Australia and I to Europe and USA and we stayed in touch till she returned to Beirut. She truly is a good person! Just wanted to say "YOU Go Girl!!! "
