- In the meanwhile, something tricky games were being prepared. Hisham and Ahmad were not spotted in the kitchen having breakfast with the others!
However, at the door of the interview room, where they usually sleep, some scary notes on papers were hanged, warning any one to dare getting in. As a matter of fact, after yesterday’s punishment during the gym class, little gossips were heard about setting up a plan against Georges! What’s coming on the way? What’s going to happen during today’s gym course?! Let’s wait until the bell rings!
- Two minutes passed, Hisham and Ahmad finally decided to join the class!
What a decision! What could be waiting for them? One should assume by now George’s kind of punishments! Never ending push ups, sit ups and squats were assigned to the poor students. So tired and exhausted physically, their energetic mind will never give up; Hisham and Ahmad escaped for the second time and ran away from the gym to the interview room where they locked the doors again. Unsuccessfully, George ran after them but couldn’t catch them.
He warned them by informing them that for the next gym sessions they will be experiencing hell, they will have to deal with lot of troubles and punishments! And most of all, Hisham will be banned from having his breakfast and lunch Later, with the help of the remaining students, he took all their personal belongings from their room, like the Derbake, Oud, flags, perfumes, pictures etc…
- Alissar’s class started with a small overview about the evaluation of Monday. She informed the students how unhappy and unsatisfied they made her feel! Truth is that she didn’t expect to see them dancing that way during the test, stressing on the point that the presented choreographies were irrelevant and not compatible with the songs. The students’ reply was that the insufficient time and lack of work prevented them from getting ready seriously for the test. As a consequence to their bad performance, she doubled the exercises and toughened the work. Sure this kind of punishment is highly beneficial for improving their physical fitness and technical level and will surely lift up their level. In addition, as Hisham tried to express to Allisar that he dislikes the dance that was given to Bashar; she immediately told Hisham that she will not make the scene and dance! So now its all up to Hisham and up to his desires. Lets wait & see.
- Hisham decdied to create a new song for his “BELOVED” Sports Teacher George.
- Hisham told Zizi that if I come back this week, I’ll work harder for those who voted for me. Zizi also told Hisham that you need to be more confident because you are good and you might win the title.
- The Tunisian ambassador paid a visit to the Academy. Most of the discussions were centered on the fame and glamour of the candidates in the Arab world. The ambassador talked with the candidates about how they are being admired not just among the boundaries of the Arab region but also on the international level. She transferred the message of the Tunisian President and told them that he sent them his best regards. She also said to Amani that in Tunisia, they call her “Bambino Amani” and sang to her the song that her son composed especially to her. As well, she surprised Hisham by telling him that she brought to them hot spicy food. Hisham was so happy and thanked the Tunisian embassy a lot. In addition, she asked them if they liked the Tunisian night. And all said of course, it was a great night.
- Katia called her mother.
- Hisham played one of his jokes again and told Amani to go the interview room because she is wanted by Roula. She went and waited for a long time..
She then found out he was lying!
- Candidates gathered during their free time and they started playing. This time, the game was the “pictogram game”. They have to guess the name of the song by drawing it on the white board. They were divided into two groups, boys and girls. One has to design some significant drawing and the other group has to guess the name of the songs. They really had some funny times with each others. And they tried as much as they can to choose a difficult song. But, the girls won at the end.
- Ahmad H got very upset when he found out that Amani took his food and fed the chickens. He confronted her and she said that she had asked but no one answered.

What a nice party - Gordanian night - it was very good. Every body danced and injoyed it.
- Hisham was great helping Bashar by asking questions about Gordon even when he new the answers. He also was great in asking the others to lesten to Bashar while he was talking about his country. He ended with incoraging every body to dance and feel happy.
- Bashar was great in explaining his country and did show a tallent in making music specially when he explained the song he and his friends made for his country. Bashar I solute you.
- Ahmad H./ Katia / Zeze were the fun of the party. The party would not have been a party with out the.
- Amani was always inrupting Bashar and compairing her - better - country system, culture etc. She has a great voice, unfortunately she has a bas attitute. I wish the she lesten to the others advise.
- George showed his kindness and sweet heart today. I wish the guys lesten to his advise. He means well to them like all the teachers.

How can u judge personality by describing it as poor. Her being calm and quiet doesn't mean that she's boring, i know she may over react over small things sometimes but she's really nice and decent, i think she does have a chance to win. She even bought houses for people who could not afford that. It is unfair to judge someone without knowing everything about them. That's my point. Saba7 sang lots songs about Lebanon and even if she didn't, I might have a lot more sins than her. I do not like to judge people. I prefer to spend the energy on improving myself.

If you only re_read my comments about Sahbah... Some of my negative comments about her and Mm Rola are due to arrangment of the visit to students on the night before the evalutaion .. the night they were practicing singing Um Kalthum ...
If you recall the 2nd day , most were sleepy, tension broke_up more with the teachers, and each wasnt able to put a show by himself or small groups... They had to do the same act all together which pissed off the teachers .. but the adminstration didnt recognize their major mistakes ... one of which is the timing of the visit by Sabah, the other is having a tunisian night within the week !! If you noticed, the students wanted the tunisian night to finish fast !!
After that,, things started getting v bad at the academy ....

If you think that the whole voting arab world voted against Joy because of Syria's alleged involvement in the Hariri assassination, you're crazy. Noone in the arab world except for Lebanese believe that Syria is behind it so how could that affect voting? If you're saying that the Star Academy staff sacked her for that, I really can't comment.

I agree with you that Amani isn't the best all-round. She does have the best voice but even then, she sings in a classical style like Angham and not "shababy" enough. Shababy is what makes the big money after all, no?
Hisham, and all "khalayga" for that matter, should stick to khaleegi music. Not that there is anything wrong with khaleegi music, bel3akss I think it's fantastic, but I have yet to see a khaleegi singer that can fit into the mainstream of shababy music.
Let's forget about Katia and Bashar altogether.
That leaves Zizi who aside Amani are the only deserving winners. But Mohamed Ateyya last year and another egyptian this year? Not likely. Not in the arab world. People would create such a stink over it that the show would lose its credibility. like there is a bias towards egyptians and how egyptians have 70 million potential voters, etc, tec. Tough call.

By the way, the Syrian backed only themselves in the civil war. They killed Lebanese people regardless of religion. They killed Kamal Jumblat who was a Druze, Bashir Gemayel a Christian, Rene Moawad, a Christian, Mufti Hassan Khaled, a muslim and Rafik Hariri, a muslim (among others). Turning this into a religious deal is stupid.

I understand what you are saying and i would not like to turn this into a religious issue...but if you remember your history right, lebanese christians asked the syrians for help, syrians helped christians against muslims, christians changed sides with jews against muslims and syrians...syrians realized had to retaliate... bitter sweet history

I did not leave Lebanon forever. I am studying in the United States and all my family is still in Lebanon. I will be back as soon as I am done.
To make it fair, it was different factions that started the war not all christians and muslims..there are those who didnt have anything to do with it
I am a muslim and I never had any problems with christians...i actually see them as brothers and sisters, we are all arabs....we have our goods and bads, but we are all ARABS!!!
