Star Academy 1 student Bashar El-Shatti first album is ready, its called 'Geded' and includes 13 songs. Bashar has cooperated in the album with poets from the Gulf area in addition to Arabs; like Da'eg Al-Khalifa, Al-Nasser and Saher. El-Shatti also worked with composer Mesh'el Al-Oroug in several songs and Khaled El-Sheikh in his song 'Mo Haram' that was written by his brother; poet Youssef El-Shatti, and composers Ya'koub Al-Khebezy and Abdullah Al-Qaoud.

BTW he sang almost of his new album in his concerts in kuwait during HALA FEBRURAY festival his songs were amazing u'll b suprized really his songs had mixed with a turkish flavor but in new style diffently u;ll like it,I wish 4 him all the good luck man u deserve the spots!!

heyy i like bashar alot but i dnt think according to staracademy he shudve won i mean if they were in superstar or in a programme tht only depends on the voices bashar shudve won but in staracademy 3ateya or ahmed deserved it n 3ateya isnt stupid btw ya SAEED!!!!

Well let's face it, he's not the most handsome of men. You can seldom find a nice-looking Kuwaiti. I like his voice though, but I could never waste one dime on buying Khaleeji songs.
The tunes are reminiscent of the desert and the lyrics are totally unintelligible.

I don't think Sofia is still going out with Bashar. When they invited them to starac 1 Sophie didn't look at Bashar nor stayed next to him...I felt that she was avoiding him...Maybe he did something bad to her...then ended up had a depression...she got Anemic and was in the hospital.....What do you guy think?

As for Hindawdaw, to each his or her culture and music. Using supposed Arabic lyrics for a song (although unintelligible) does not oblige any arab-speaking person to like it.
Each region has its own music and Arabic music is a big lie. Khalijee songs are inspired by the desert, Lebanese songs (the real singers song that is) are inspired by Syriac (not Syrian) tunes as well as Byzantine and Turkish tunes (considering these people existed here loooooooong before the Arabs), the Maghrebine Rai is just North African, and I can't ONE WORD of it. So many people here would rather listen to French, English and Even Spanish songs because they understand them better than Khaleeji or Rai or Sudanese song.

How could make your judgment on arabic or khalleji or rai music, and what's lebanese music ? At least khleeji and arabic singers respect themselves and have great voices, but you in lebanon your singers can't sing without showing their bodies to the public because your voices are weak and your ladies sing half necked to impress the audience .
So keep your pride for yourself .

Marcella is just one of these "arabs in denial". An arab with an identity crisis. Someone who would do anything to get the arab label off them and think that being lebanese is far superior to being arab.
Wake up, Marcella. To the europeans, you'll always be just an arab. and the longer you feel inferior to europeans, the longer you will BE inferior to them.
As for the rest of you, be proud to be arab. Yes we have our problems but when the dust settles, we're still the best people!
