I used to find it soooooooooo annoying.

As for the hair, I'm a fan of longer hair (of course not vulgarly long as Zizi's)but it looked classy anyway.
I don't think she's a very beautiful girl, especially not according to Lebanese standards but day after day I am percieving a certain charm in her personality and I like the way she sings, although she could work more on her notes.
All in all she puts a good act.
Well, she must have some charm beyond her rather plain looks as she's got two handsome guys interested in her;)Bashar is a HUNK and Jihad is fairly attractive too.
But I think yesterday LBC was mean enough to put the poor Jihad in a VERY embarrassing situation, when they started insisting on her story with Bashar.
To top it all Bashar made a "romantic" appearance and afterwards, Hilda started teasing him to know "which one of the students he missed more", while close shots focused on Jihad's reactions as if he was a guinea pig for this sick game... and obviously he wans't at ease.
I used to like LBC's surprises but this time it was a sheer invasion of privacy and disrespect of persons.
Even the wonderful and touching surprise of Samer wasn't enough to compensate the shock the "Katia's Predicament"

P.S. Zizi cut your hair.

Amani don't ruin your exceptional voice with your weak appeal and nagging personality.
People get tired of seeing people whining and crying all the times. You have the BEST voice in the academy and you're a good-looking girl but these might not be enough if you don't present yourself as a cheerful and fun person.

In my opinion I think Samer has the best voice but we all know that because he is lebanese, no matter against who he will be( if he is nominee), he will not be saved. Lebanese always get the lowest votes. It is shameful because first of all it is the hosting country and second because talented people such as Samer cannot win.

Voting results are not an accurate measure for the popularity of a given contestant in a Pan-Arab competition, where Lebanon is the smallest nation and most economically distressed and where people have better things than paying ten times the normal fee of an sms or a call to vote.
Even Feiruz herself wouldn't be able to gather major percentages of votes as other bigger or richer nations will pour whatever money necessary to guarantee the success of their contestant.
I always recall the Ahmad Sharif-M. Khalawy "showdown" where Khalawi just won because he belongs to a richer and bigger country than Tunisia eventhough Ahmad enjoys a huge and justified popularity by account of his voice and his stunning looks.
Here it's a matter of statistics not popular preference.

I am just using an extreme example to PROVE that LEBANON CAN NEVER WIN THE MAJORITY OF VOTES IN A PAN-ARAB CONTEST. PERIOD.
Second, the percentages are never the same even for the same contestants. Look at Ahmad Salah for instance the difference of voting in his favor was huge from one prime to another. That too is not an accurate measure.
As for thinking that Katia is the worst then be it, everyone prefer or hate one contestant or the other, but please do not mingle things and read carefully the posts.

By the way ,

your comments about % and country population is not absolutly true and here's examples :

1- in semi-final last year the difference between Attia (Egyptian)and Baha (Tunisian) was nearly 2 % (two)

2- This year ,Anas (Libya is 4 millions only) won a high % though there was an Egyptian with him (Randa)

Katia had this low % NOT because she's Lebanese ,but simply because she is bad (very)

As I already pointed out, it's not only a matter of a bigger nation but a richer nation.
A mere example of Kuwait is enough to illustrate this. These people have enough money and time to push forward any contestant from their nation.
In the two examples you provided, it was about egyptian contestants.
Well as for Anas, Libya's GDP is 9000 dollars while egypts is about 3500 dollars so it is clearly that the Libyans have three times more money to spend on this and statistically it figures.
By the way, if you notice on the 24 channel there aren't much sms from Egyptians, so either the coverage of the program in Egypt is not wide enough or they do not have the money, and I guess it's both.
As for Baha, the girl was popular not only in Tunisia but in all the north african region and obviously Lebanon, but in the end Attieh won.

Anyway Katia does not annoy me as she is a good performer with a voice better than Salma and an outgoing personality better than Amani for instance, but chances are she won't make it to the final 4.
