Starac Sunday Dailies

Star Academy Sunday Dailies

- Students woke up before the usual morning bell rang. As we all know, Salma recently cheated on her diet and she is scared on what Madam wazan might do to her. Katia said that she had a feeling Joy would leave. Bashar is happy that Ahmad H chose Joy, because it made her feel better.

- The students were getting ready to finally go out and have fun.

- Zizi was late and so she was afraid they might leave her behind and go out. Salma told Zizi that you are a star, and they will never leave stars like you behind. So in reply Zizi said, “Stars” are never late for anything, there are always on time!

- As they left the Academy, the students had a different feeling. Fresh – air and everything was amazing. To express their happiness they sang “halliloua”. They went to this garden and opened a mat and started eating.
They were camping basically! The brazilian Feniona then approached them and started talking to them...

- Madam Sawan Wazan admits that the Prime was amazing and Joy will be missed dearly. She then blamed Salma and told her that she is increasing weight dramatically. She had increased 3 Kilo’s.

Samer and Zizi were having a chit-chat. Zizi started caling each of the students to what she thinks they look and sound like. She started by saying:
Bashar = Ehab Tawfiq. Salma and Katia = Nancy and Haifa. Hisham = Wadih Al-Saafi. Samer = Wael Kufoory. Ahmad Hussain = Hussain Al Jasmi. Samer then told Zizi that she is exactly like Fairouz. Zizi was happy to be given an example of the famous Fairouz! Zizi then said that I would not mind being called “Sheriene”.

- It was time for Oussama’s Prime evaluation. Before him even coming in, Katia approached him and spoke to him personally. She said please do not be harsh on me today. I know I did not do well, but please do not be harsh!! He then came in and pointed each and every single students mistakes. But at the end he said, I know it was hard for you to do and memorize lyrics at the last minute but you guys as a group did a wonderful job!

- Neutrogena skin treatment for the girls. Zizi was treated first.

- For the Evaluation on Monday, the students were divided into several groups to perform. The groups were as follows:

- Ahmad S – Hisham - Zizi

- Amani – Katia - Samer

- Ahmad H - Bashar - Salma

    WALEG
I notice sometimes lots of inaccuracies in names.
Last time it was Michelle instead of Michel
Now the Brazilian Lebanese lady is called Regina Fenianos, not Feniona or whatever as your wrote.
Fenianos is an old Lebanese family not a brazilian proper name.
    Thank you

    Marcelle Lebanon,

In reply to your comment, I would like to apologize for my mistakes. I promise next time that I shall try to be more articulate.

However, I really do hope my post delivers the message to everyone :)

Oh Khaled, that's so sweet of you.
Being a language expert I pick up mistakes that most people do not notice especially proper nouns.
You know in Lebanon we have lots of foreign first names and families that are not known in other parts of the Arab countries and so if one is not Lebanese he might make mistakes in transliterating.
For instance my name is Marcelle with double l which means I am a female, while a Marcel is a male, the same goes for Michelle/Michel etc. :)
So it is nice of you to welcome any linguistic comment on my behalf :)
And I have to apologize for some of my harsh comments, but when you think of it I never provoke, they are only strong answers to some rude comments by obviously narrow-minded people.
Anyway your website is nicely done.
    God Bless

c'était injuste de choisir HANANE pour représenter le Maroc, nous avons beaucoup de jeunes gens qui ont du talent .
Vous aurez pu choisir mieux qu'elle .

    dear ??
YES i precisely wrote TRANSLITERATING WHICH MEANS to write or spell (words, letters, etc.) in corresponding characters of another alphabet
    NOT TRANSLATING.
ANYWAY TRANSLATING WOULDN'T MEANT NOTHING IN THE SENTENCE.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE TALKING NONESENSE.

    No dispute whatsoever.
It's just I can't stand sarcastic comments that are devoid of any logical basis.
Mr whatever thought I wrongly wrote "translating"
assuming that "transliterating" is some odd verb that I came up with.
So I explained what "transliterating" mean and that I precisely used it in my post.
You know Khaled, receiving comments from ignorants could wreck your nerves sometimes!
    That's it for now.

You're right. Bashar's look wasn't one of his best. He looked like a desperate copy for Zoro.
    The moustaches were utterly ludicrous.
HOWEVER, he's still one of my favorites, and he did absolutely brilliantly when he sang
    راجع يتعمّر لبنان
He touched the hearts of the Lebanese as he mastered the accurate notes of the song.
Well we miss all the students of the Star Academy One and hope we'll see more of them.
As for Sara, when I said "I'm a language expert" it wasn't for bragging it is because I specialized for five years in the university in languages and it's what I do for a living. So be advised of that.
