ok, anyways, it's sad that Joy had to leave. It was her first chance. But i'm happy for samer.And i'm also happy for ahmad s. although it is his third time, the teachers are being strict on him and nominate him while they could nominate people who did a lot worse. Joy was a funny girl, and i'm sure that the academy will be different without her. I expected that ahmed would get the highest score:), and samer would get voted in by his friends. In case you don't know it, The syrians entered Lebanon since many years and never got out.
It bombarded cities, killed civilians, assasinated politicians and journalists, set embargoes on whole regions and deprived them of essential fuels and foods.
The syrians also took many Lebanese detainees and so far nobody knows nothing about them. If you want a detailed list of the syrian crimes in Lebanon I'd be happy to provide it.
And in the late years it imposes a tight grip on the politics, imposes MPs on the parliament and even the President. And it's thime they go out.
But that doesn't have to include Joy.
Joy is a nice girl of a good family and these things shouldn't have anything to do with politics.

After the time i took reading every single message you have posted here i am very dissapointed to say all of you are selfish with the exception of some people!
I am Lebanese, I love Lebanon and I love my the people of Lebanon... the prime this week was 100% FAIR! nothing to me seemed like it was a cheat in any way! Three nominees and the reason for them being chosen was very clear....The vote was made and the results were said Ahmed was helped by the fans and Samer by his friends and out goes Joy. There isnt anything wrogn or disturbing about it they are all gonig to go and this prime and nomination didnt have anything to do with the assasination of Rafik AL Hariri! People just remember we are all arabs and care for each other we dont like to see our fellow arab countries in trouble and may every arab country live!!

I am 100% percent with you. The whole prime was a make up, did you see how "Amani" was crying and saying "although Joy is my friend, I'm gonna vote for Samer", as if somebody from the back is forcing her to vote for "Samer". And how come all of a sudden everybody is with "Samer" and against "Joy", I wonder who tells them to vote for who? It's so obvious that it is not their own decision, it'snot what theywant, it's what Star academy's crew want. I'm not saying "Joy" was the best singer, but there was "Ahmad" who was worst than her, what happened? All of a sudden people thought "Ahmad" is the best, and you know why they left a Lebanese and a Syrian at the end, people figure it out yourself, if you can. I still can't get over "Joy" being out, what a coinsidence, after all the troubles and the assasination and people shouting out loud SYRIA OUT, JOY is out. I agree with you s. People should just cheer for their favorite student(s) and stop bashing others. It's not nice, and is rude. As far as everyone accusing LBC of playing with the results, then why on earth would LBC not have changed the results in StarAcc1 to make sure that Bruno and Cynthia did not get eliminated so early. For all the stuff Attieh did that pissed off the teachers and Miss Rola, why did they not mess with the votes and eliminate him? PLEASE. Everything to some Arabs is a conspiracy theory. As a matter of fact, I think the Americans pressured LBC to eliminate Joy, and resolution 1559 called for Joy to be eliminated from the Academy.

for those who think it was all planned, i don't know.. the hatred that some arabs are expressing towards each other is just the result of someone that wants "yewa2a3 benhom". So forget that, and the reason why ahmed got 12% last time is cuz it wad three khaligis against each other and Masha Allah, they have a lot of support for them. So Fahd and Ahmed, who usually get saved by the public, got low scores cuz Hisham came, and he has a lot of fans, and not only that, Saudi Arabia is soo much bigger than Bahrain and Kuwait. As for the students vote, and if you watched the 24 channel, Joy instructed her friends to vote to Samer "because he needed this more than her"
I think it was very noble, cause she know of Samer's tough financial situation and being well-off herself (her father is the owner of a fancy Aleppo hotel) she saw he deserves it more.

Anyway I always wondered why Lebanese programs are bothering to bring different nationalities.
The voting will never be fair. A Lebanese would never win popular voting cause Lebanon is the smallest country, and if a Lebanes wins then it's "tricking and rigging" and God knows what.
I guess they're doing it for the money.
But I can't help imagining if these kinds of programs where produces by any of the "Democratic" countries of the region, (That is if they have the capacity to produce on that caliber) what would the results be like!
