After a week's delay, Star Academy 2 returns with a very special prime dedicated to Lebanon; a small country with a very big heart.
This special soiree featured the stars of the 1st season of Star Academy.
The nominees this week were Samer, Joy and Ahmad Salah El-Din.
This week there were only 4 top students as a result of the lessening of the students each week. And they were: 4. Zizi, 3. Bashar G., 2. Katia, 1. Ahmad Hussein.
The prime began with a song "La Ma Khelsit El Hkaieh" -no, the story hasn’t ended-, which was appropriate with the whole sad events in Lebanon after the assassination of Prime Minister Rakif Hariri. This moving song was performed by famous Lebanese stars who gathered especially for this occasion like: Sabah, Wael Kfouri, Haifa Wehbe, Nancy Ajram, Melhem Zein and many more.
The words were strong, sad and very moving; words about Lebanon, Beirut, freedom, independence and most of all, the late Rafik Hariri.
The 1st song to be performed grouped the stars of Star Academy all dressed in black. The song was "Ya Ahl El Ard" –oh, peoples of the earth-.
The nominees came out on stage early this prime, and sang a song also about Lebanon, which is by the famous Lebanese singer Wadi El Safi.
The second song "Li Beirut" –for Beirut-, was performed by Katia and Zizi, and Cynthia and Sophia from Star Academy 1.
The third song was performed by Jordanian Bashar G. and Kuwaiti Ahmad Hussein, a salute to the countries of the Arab world, and the other students participated as a chorus.
The 1st portrait to be performed was taken from one of Mansour Rahbani's plays "Summer 840".
The fourth song was "Ana Bitnafas Hurrieh" –I breathe freedom-, Katia and Amani sung it really well.
The surprise guest was the great Lebanese icon, singer Wadi Safi, who adorned the stage with his presence and sang with his beautiful, one-of-a-kind voice his famous song "Zra'na Tlalek Ya Bladi" –we planted your hills my country-.
The fifth song was performed by Amani, Salma and Baha' and Miriam.
"Jbal El Sawan" –mountains of flint stone-, a play by the Rahbani's, was the theme of the second portrait presented by the Star Academy students.
Samer and Katia both sang the sixth song, and assured that they love Lebanon by saying with all their might: "Bhebak Ya Libnan" –I love you Lebanon-.
Once again Wadi Safi performs on stage his very well known song "Khadra Ya Bladi Khadra" –my country is green-, with the participation of Ahmad Hussein and Hisham.
The starts of Star Academy 1 took another stand together on stage and sang their song "Jai El Hakika" –the truth is coming-. Then everybody took to the stage and sang a famous Lebanese song together "Raje' Libnan" –Lebanon is returning-.
It was wonderful and moving to see those Arab youth together, singing for Lebanon and for the entire Arab world.
All in all, the students sang well, and conveyed a clear message about the strength and unity of Lebanon and the Arab world as a whole.
The final part of the Prime was the Results of the voting; the results were so close and Ahmad S. was voted back into the academy. The students had a difficult task of choosing between Joy and Samer; with six votes to one, Samer stays and Joy leaves to Syria.
As predicted, Joy is out !

It is really unfair fot Joy.She had her place.
Ahmad must leave as quick as possible.It was his third nomination.People that voted for Ahmad are so fool.I'am sorry but Joy deserved a chance to stay because it was her first nomination.

Ahmad, Mr. Nominee, had his chances. Too bad the people brought him back, but he only came back to be nominated again for the 4th time next week! How embarrassing for him!
Also, for the other Ahmed to be No. 1 again is a BIG joke. It shows how bankrupt Starac2 is with real talent.
I agree with 3Al Mishmish. The khaliji folks weigh very heavily on the voting, especially when it's a khaliji nominee. There's nothing wrong with that though. Yes, people should vote based on the most deserving nominee, but don't forget, people who have something in common normally stick together. Samer even got the lowest votes, and it was the students who saved him, so how can everyone say the voting was rigged. If LBC wanted to make sure Samer got saved, they would have given him the highest votes and not Ahmed. I thought Joy sounded good singing the Lebanese nationlist songs.
I only have one thing to say : If we are honest with ourselves,Joy deserved to stay and Ahmad to leave.
I hope Joy will do the star academy 2 tour.She has chances.The results of the prime were so close (and so wired).

Joy is a nice girl, so sweet 2, and i know that that was the third time that Ahmed was a nominee, and as u know since he is from BAHRAIN DAR EL ZAIN, actually he has a nice voice, and Joy doesnt... U know something, even though she is out it is not ahmeds fault u know... things happen, so get over it and hope that she is going 2 have a good luck, coz she might got out, but still she has a lot of fans, she didnt lose anything, but she gained friends there... ok... i know that she is kind and sweet, but those r the rules, some1 get back and some1 dont, so even if we liked them, we might never see them on that screen, so we should hope the best 2 them all ok...
