A letter to Sami Yusuf

Sami Yusuf CD Album Cover

This Letter was submitted by 'Ronetta' on Sami Yusuf Article which we have posted several weeks ago. We have decided to post 'Ronetta' letter to Sami Yusuf to read it and also to give a chance to Sami Yusuf fans to post their letters too:

Assalamu alikom all...
Sami... I was about to die to find your personal email by which i can contact you personally, no one helped me indeed, although I found a person i don't know who, he is –i think- 16 years and you know his brother.

He told me that he knows your email but simply cant give it to me, may be he is true and you too in hiding your personal email, because i know there is kind of people who just like having fun!!

Bas wallahi I'm not like them, i really need to contact you, to talk to you, to exchange thoughts and ideas, I'm almost near your age, when i first heard your nasheed i had a feeling i don't know how to express it! A kind of relaxation ease relief comfort peace of mind, i dunno how to say it. Moreover my tears don't stop every time I heard any nasheed of yours, i can feel the faith and the belief in every word.

You said in your comment to your fans ( Allah is my witness and knows what is in my heart as I type these words for you, Wallahi, I am very proud to be part of the Ummah of our beloved teacher, prophet and guide: Muhammad Mustafa (SAS) and I am proud of you all. It’s my honour, duty and pleasure to be serving Allah (SWT) alongside all of you! Please safeguard your Iman and faith by making sure you are in a blessed environment who are fearful of Allah and who will help you with your Islamic development. )
and I would be so proud if you let me repeat these words because yes Allah is my witness in every word I said, and in my need to have your email at least or any way to contact sami yusuf because I need sami yusuf to reply to my messsges or questions.. you said also (we should always be developing Islamically, i.e. memorising and understanding the Quran, attending circles and blessed gathering which will have righteous people who we can learn and benefit from.) so please help me to do this, as you said. Help me in finding way to talk to you, please sami if you read this messsge from me don't ignore it.

I'm so sorry I didnt say who am I! Well I live in Jordan, but originally I'm circassian from caucasis, I'm 21 years old.

Again brother sami, if you read this messsge don't ignore it, reply to me at my email um_nart215@hotmail.com or adiga_gurl1984@yahoo.com

I don't have any thing to do more but waiting a hope, I need to enrich my islam, my knowledge of islam, so help me, give me 5 minutes from your time in a week, I know you're busy, God be with you in every step you do.
God bless you...

Wasalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.

    Salam Alaikum,
Listening to AL Mu'allim was a turning point in my life. I heard about it from my friend back home, in Egypt. I listened to the nasheed on the first day of Ramadan and.... it was the AWAKENING. I guess the time of release of the album was blessed, since it was released just before Ramadan, when everyone is thinking hard about getting closer to Allah (SWT). Your nasheeds were the trigger for me and I am sure for many other persons. Barak Allah Feek.
But the nasheeds were not the only thing though. you are very influential person, and as Mesut Kurtis pointed out you have an "exemplary character." I always felt that pious Muslims are very strong and very determinate. I really lack those characters. Probably, because I am a Muslim who lives in the west and fears rejection. I moved to the US in 2001 and I was really isolated from my surroundings over the past 3 years. After taking a look at some of your interviews, I felt the strength of the Iman in your heart and that is what I am trying to seek, enshallah. I don't have to fear anything anymore and I am going to proudly announce my religion. So, definitely you are a model for all the muslim youth. Keep up with the good work and your amazing morals and adab.
By the way, if you really like Egypt, why don't go there often? People there are crazy about you. Trust me, when Egyptians love someone, they can devote everything for his sake. You basically become an "Egyptian" in everyone's eyes and heart over there. You are one of us.
Salam Alaikum and Thank you very much.
