Sami Yusuf, a 24 year old guy who is going to make a boom in the hearts of thousands of people around the world … For him music is an alternative way for Islam to enlighten the hearts of youth all over the world.
Sami Yusuf is appearing now on the famous Melody Hits music channel, with a great song called “Al-Mu’allim” … with his charming face, beautiful voice and exquisite style, he sings about Islam and the Prophet Mohammed both in English and Arabic...
This song should open a gateway to spreading Islam especially in the new generation who is widely effected by western music. This might be the way to their hearts, minds and souls.
It is obvious that the ways of fanatics and extremists in spreading Islam have gone nowhere, especially with the extensive use of the word “haram”, in addition to the negative image that is being conveyed throughout the world, of Islam being anything but beautiful, merciful, truthful and loving.
The world has changed radically, and thus the way of spreading Islam has to as well. And this young man has certainly started the route.

I'm impressed ! I hope Sami sets the example for Muslim youth and be able to show the world what this religion is all about.. I'm just sick and tired of watching muslem youth getting more trivial and superficial everyday by the influence of the western media.. its about time we have someone as genuine as Sami to show us a path long forgotten !!!

someone asked earlier if sami's music isn't haram.well,how can this be haram. he's doing so much good singing about Prophet Muhammad and reminding us of a part of our lives we've been neglecting for far too long... how can that be haram???!
If anything, we have to be honest with ourselves and admit all this other music we're listening to that all it speaksabout is sex and lust is unacceptable,especially these rubbish video clips we see on all arab channels... wat trash!

It's fantastic to see/hear a young Muslim be so passionate about our Religion. Although I was a slightly concerned over the controversy surrounding Islamic 'songs' I feel that anything that encourages the youth today to turn to our Religion and express a keen interest cannot be a bad thing.
Congratulations on the success of Al'Muallim, Sami has a beautiful voice, his love and intelligence shine through his words. Can't wait to hear the next album.
