Hey, My name is Saleh Al Braik, im 16 and Live in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. I went on thursday and got to see the Star Academy Concert on the 19th of May in the Convention Trade Center. The concert was the best...
It was the most fun thing I have ever gone to in my life! I have gone to many English concerts ! But this tops them all ! The power that the 8 students of Star Academy brought was none like i've ever seen ever! The concert was 90% full on both days! Because I went to it twice! And each night I would repeat a billion times!
But the most interesting part was when I got a hint from a friend of mine that Star Academy would be appearing at 2 pm in Virgin Megastores! And straight away I got my CD's ready and my Camera and went off to Vigrin Megastores with my 2 cousins !
We arrived at 1:45 pm and was sure enough that we would be the first ones! When we entered the City Center we found it emptier than usual ! And when we made our way to Virgin Megastores THOUSANDS of people were outside and screaming! Star Academy didnt even arrive yet and people were going wild and singing! Well that was a shock to me!
Me and my 2 cousins squeezed our way through ! AND GUESS WHAT! We made it to the beginning of the whole line ! There were many sections where people could stand behind, and we were at the front of one of them ! Infact the middle one directly aiming to where the students were going to be sitting!
Peoples hearts were pumping ! They were getting Dizzy because of all the noise! People were getting pushy because EVERYONE wanted a picture with the stars! And then.....after 30 minutes...at 2:30 pm....The STARS came!
People went wild! I have to admit I did too ! And i couldnt beleive how much energy they had as a group! And yet again it always amazed me! So me and my 2 cousins were in the front of one of the ques and we could clearly see all of the students and called out to each one! THEY LOOKED DIRECTLY AT US and either waved, winked, kissed....ANYTHING to make our hearts pound even faster! The security guards then said that one que was the que where people could go in and it wasnt ours! Everyone was furious! I was furious! And then my little cousin went under the guards hands and went in! Taking all my cameras and CD's and pictures for them to sign ! (I later on framed everything!) So it was beautiful! Then they started to leave and I pulled both my cousins and we went from the back enterance!
"Saleh, They arnt going to come here OBVIOUSLY" Said my cousins! And I was sure they would ! Even though there werent any security guards! Then all of a sudden guards came from behind us and blocked the other people from entering! Me and My cousins were in the middle of the Guards and the Star Academy students! And none of them stopped us! They were RIGHT THERE AHEAD OF US! I couldnt hold myself I jumped and hugged them and SOPHIA (THE ONE I LOVE THE MOST) EVEN GAVE ME A KISS! I never washed my cheek after that ( Thats a joke by the way).
They then left! And oh my god ! I spoke to them and laughed with them ! And i was sooo Happy! I couldnt beleive myself! I loved them 1000000000000000 TIMES MORE than what I did before I saw them!

im over star ac, i really used to love but i think its had it chance to shine not we should let it end on a high note rather than trying to promote it so much till everyone becoems sick of it. theyre making us sick of it by doing all these promtion over and over and doing the same performances over and over, it just gets boring.
really its been months since it ended i think they should just call it quits and accept their 15 min of fame and exit on a high note

People actullay love Meryium but because of their jelousy they say they dont! I am a Syrian as I said before, and I have two Lebanese girls in my class, ok. I am the only girl and student in my whole class that is going to the high school with grades and averages above 105% and the only one to be placed in high honor classes. Now these girls and everyone else in my class are very jelous bc i am better than all of them in Faith in God, in Values and Morals, in School, in Work, and every single teacher loves me as a daughter. these girls are very jelous that at times like just the other day my teacher and i were speaking about greater syria which consisted of lebanon, they girls came into the conversation thinking they know better than a syrian they say that lebanon was then around ww2 taken by a guy named Phenociacus and made it lebanon and became the president! ok thats really stupid and last year we learned about civilization, so after the girl left i was like dont listen to her..what she said is wrong and i explained history of the east correctly. then we had to do presentations about different countries, i did syria they did lebanon.. i needed someone to hold up my project while i presented to i picked them two. i knew all of my report without having to even practice or review i got 120% on my project. then i helped them with their project.. i ended up doing the presentation since they forgot everything and knew nothing. the teacher would ask a question bout lebanon and id end up answering instead. so this explanation shows how dumb lebanese could be and how jelous people could get cuz meryium has a beautiful voice and the best and she was the only one who knew how to sing, she was great at directing and acting, and at the dance class she was excellant - she does better than KaraKela! and Meryium is a shining moon among all of them and the prettiest and kindest... you guys didnt see when sophia and cyndia yell do you only because they speak english and french that make them better, no my darlings thats when Jesus pities them the most and lebanon is becoming worse than the west with its devil worshippers!and its people are beinging taken over by the green eye especially their jelousy of our Great President Bashar al Assad and Beautiful Syria --without us you guys would be long gone just like Iraq and Palestine!

on wednesday 19 may 2004 i saw the star academy students in the hotel they stayed in, i got the chance to meet them.. WOW they were amazing.. they even look better on real life than on tv. i talked to Bashar WOW he's amazing, though he was the only one i could talk to cos the rest had their fans and i was closest to Bashar and he's my favourite.. (i just love him, he's so cute and sweet) he's really lovable u could talk to him and he'd answer u as a friend.. i just love him.. Cynthia, Sofia, Myriam, Bahaa look very good they were cute.. and Khalawi & Ahmad look cute too.. about Attia, he was sweet but i think he jst woke up ;) (im kidding) he was good too..
that say was the best day of my life, i got to talk to Bashar in person WOW!!! from the begining of star academy i said Bashar would reach till the end and since then i was with him.. He's talented, he knows how to play the piano,guitar,oud,violin,drums... and many more, and he know everything abt music, he's an artist.. i jst love him.. he;s got the voice, the talent, the looks and oh wow "the body" haha!! and i got him to sign on my hand.. it stayed for a week though hehe!!
i couldnt make it to virgin megastores on thursday but it was ok cos on wednesday i stood next to them and saw them face to face, but if i went to virgin i wouldnt have seen them really well.. cos it was CROWDED (as i heard)..
and the concert on thursday was the BEST!!! (couldnt make it on wed though)

Levi: I support your answers regarding the Miss Lebanon and I would correct one small misconception regarding this. Maybe this year there are no Muslims in the show (even though Nisrine Zreik might be on ecos she is from Jbaa in the South). However, Muslims used to be almost half of the contestants in the past and your statement that Leen Soleiman is the first Muslim to participate is a big mistake. One of the most beautiful Miss Lebanon that has ever come was Miss Sahar Haydar (from Bidnayel: same village of Leen around the year 1985). Hayfa Wehbe is Muslim and she was also a runner up. This doesn't mean that these are the only muslims (I don't watch these things usually due to other interests in life) and that's why I don't remember names.
Alia: You think Miss Lebanon girls are only Christians and that Muslims are pure. However, a putiry of a girl is to be honnest and not wearinga veil and making (god knows what) in secret. Do you know why Saudi men go in masses to Morocco (don't tell me they like the nature:)) There are no Christians in Morocco. What About Egypt. There is miss Egypt now and she is participating in Miss universe. I think it is better if you don't speak in the mouth of all the Muslims because most of the Muslims in the world aer shocked by what your Qaeda are doing and you come and glorify the killing of Nicholas Berg.

i'm egyptian and i'm proud of that .it hurts when i listen to people saying they liked tunisia and tunisian people through baha and ahmad . i also liked tunisia and the tunisian when i was watching baha and ahmad .. they have geat personality especially ahmad he is loyal honest and a man really .. he does not cry to get the sympathy of people he does not talk behind people's back like attiah the hypocrit did .when i started watching the program i was ready to support attiah but after i saw him saying bad things about people behind their back ,being a servant to the teachers ,making the clown i lost any respect for him ..i do not like him as a person and of course he has no charisme or voice .i feel he cheated us the egyptian.. he did not represent us nicely .he just wanted to get the money .

2 weeks ago when they were here in Dubai, the day before their first concert u saw all 8 but couldn't talk to anyone but Bashar (my love ;)) because some came into the room for pictures and left.. but Bashar, Attia and Ahmad were the only ones who stayed longer.. i saw Ahmad,oh my God, he was sooooo cute (like Bashar haha).. Attia was good too..
