The idea of Miss Lebanon becoming a reality TV program started last year, when 16 young, beautiful girls were settled in a hotel in a resort. People had the chance of seeing them once every day through a 1 hour program on the LBC channel, where we saw their breakfast, exercises, classes, lunch, dinner and everything you could think of except the hours of their sleep ...
Miss Lebanon as a Reality TV Program
It wasn’t what you would call a 24 hour reality program, but it was good enough to give us, the viewers, an idea about the girls, their good’s and bad’s and to give us the choice of voting to the one we thought would make a good Miss Lebanon.
This year, after the fever of Reality TV overwhelming the world, the LBC channel decided to make this 6 week event an everyday program broadcast 24 hours for people to see the girls even when they are sleeping!
This year, 16 girls from all areas of Lebanon, are settled in a big house … I guess you all noticed that it is the same house in which the “Star Academy” contestants were living. The only different thing is the interior design of the whole house changed; the floors are pink and violet, the walls are girly and the garden had a make-over that turned it into a party terrace.
Every week three girls are chosen as “nominees”, so that the viewers would vote for their favorite girl and every Friday in a big prime, things happen and I guess you should watch and see for yourselves …
