Today the prime was shorter than usual. The number of students was very small, and it got smaller!
This prime’s guests were: Hani Shaker, Nelli Maqdessi & Shahinaz “the winner of Star Maker”. The nominees were: Mohammad Khalawi & Cynthia Karam...
This prime was short but full of performances & reportages. The students sang with the guests in addition to the nominees singing individually; Mohammad K. sang lelt embareh ma ganish nom “yesterday night i didn’t get any sleep”, Cynthia sang ya ossas “oh stories”.
The reportages were diverse, one about Bashar & Mohammad A. , the second about Wadih Abi Raad , the third about this week’s nominees , the forth about the student’s weekly trip outside the academy & the last one about Baha’ . Why was there a report about Baha’? Because last week was her birthday when she turned 21!
As usual , there has to be a portrait with a certain theme ; this time it was a traditional Lebanese medley . Towards the end of the night, Bashar sang the last song which is raheeb by Abdel Majeed Abdullah.
I guess the results this time were expected; most of the gulf would vote for Mohammad K. … … he stayed by 71.6 % of all votes. Baha’ & Sofia will be two loners in the girls’ bed room from now on!!!

Well, since Khalawi's father is the owner of Nestle in the Middle East, you don't have to wonder how Khalawi got 71%.
I know Cynthia is far from being everyone's favorite, I suspect a tric to have been made through this voting, even if the whole Arab world did vote for Khalawi.
And if the results are really controlled, Daddy Khalawi could have payed for 20 employees to vote all day long. Hence, he would have not paid for the show, but for his son to stay at the academy.
Let's hope he won't have to face strong figures like Ahmad, Baha'a, Attia or Bachar and get them out as it was the case with Cynthia...

That is nothing but a silly rumor; Khalwai’s father does not own Nestleh/Nescafe in the middle east or Saudi.
Why must you resort to a silly conspiracy theory, to justify things that don’t go your way? Khalwai got the votes because he is popular, he is popular because he is polite, respectful and hard working, and has an very good voice and performance when singing khaligi songs (even Iraqi songs).

I would just say that every one in the star academy is special in his way, it is not always the best who stay at the end.
If we rae logical, we would all say tha bashar has the best voice and he sings so naturally.
For the others the are doing their best and are better and better each day.
