Free, Committed or inside the golden cage … is that really what Single, Engaged & Married mean?! … Each phase has its special characteristics, pros & cons, experiences, flavors & emotions. But they are all knotted together in a fuzzy kind of way …

Being single has its fresh sense of being free, independent, making ones own decisions & not being committed to a responsibility - in the serious side of the word. Maybe it’s one’s education or career, but it all comes down to being individual, somehow being one’s own self …

Once one is engaged the story changes a little bit … this phase does have it’s own charm , but being free & independent comes to display a different sense … one’s responsibility becomes a bit bigger, turning to a more serious level. Now one’s education or career become connected to a future of being a unity with someone else, having a vision of using what one had gained in the past phase to build a bright future with someone … in the coming phase …

Being married is that phase … where one becomes a unity with some other special person. Continuing a life together & building one isn’t very easy, but with experience it becomes a pleasure … these two people still make their own decisions but on a wider & bigger scale … they are independent but dependent on each other in many ways … they are both free but involving one another in what they think & do. They both use what they have learned in the past two phases in a way that would establish a happy, stable life full of love.
